And I like to have use this blog to store whatever gaming information I want. Here is some screen caps from my SC2 profile for stats and achievements.

The Starcraft II beta has been going on for some time now. And for those who've been monitoring it's progress, it's been getting alot of updates to keep the game balanced. The latest occured just today, and improves some Terran and Protoss units, but that's not what im writing about. I'm writing about the strange phenomenon of me being able to place within the top 3 of the bronze league prior to the game taking a planned hiatus, and not even being within the top 25 now that the beta is openly available to play again. What gives? Sure I enjoy the new polish to some of the units, and the UI, but seriously? Do I suck that bad? Nevertheless it really doesn't matter how many times I get my ass kicked I just get back up for more. I must be part masochist. Either that or Blizzard has really hit the mark for the new Starcraft and im just falling back into the addiction that the original Starcraft caused when it was first released. Either way I foresee many sleepness nights.

 I'm still caught up in games that came out in 2008. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of games to play coming out in January alone, but I still have Dragon Age: Origins to complete and i'd like to buy Batman: Arkham Asylum as well. Nevermind that Fallout 3 is still a huge drawing factor for my game time. But if I have to give up my gaming time for something that is coming out in 2010 i'd give it up to Bayonetta and Bioshock 2. And maybe Mass Effect 2 if I can get my PC upgraded.

As a regular Guild Wars player some of the most interesting moments are when I find strange bugs in the game that either break the game, or just enhance the experience. For example, earlier this year I found a bug that didn't allow you to salvage items while in an instanced area, the bug occurred in Lahtenda Bog and Magus Stones. Since then I hadn't found anything of note, until now.
 
So today after completing the Blacktide Den mission I zoned to Sunspear Great Hall in order to claim my reward. As I zoned to Plains of Jarin to speak to Jerek I noticed that I had a party of 6. Kihm and Sogolon were a part of my party including my heroes and myself. I have not encountered this bug before so I wager this issue began with the newest Guild Wars update as of December 12th.
