This masterpiece of sandbox shooter design is committed to the first-person. Gunplay feels intense and unscripted moments erupt like wildfire. If you can adapt to the unorthodox pacing, you're in for quite the meditative experience.
First-person parkour in a beautiful urban playground. Story and combat should be ignored. It's all about the sensation of piloting a human body efficiently through an environment, often while being chased. More a proof of concept in need of a sequel, as we could always use more games that encourage evasion over shooting dudes.
Cruise through a gorgeous open-world city with realistic traffic flow, a day/night cycle, dynamic weather, and brilliant street design that keeps you in the world (instead of the mini-map). Each different car class feels perfect thanks to blissful driving physics.
Well-written story set in a unique world. What it lacks in gameplay it makes up for in dramatic performances by characters you actually care about.
