I have to admit there has only been one time for me and that was for the xbox360 at launch. That was also the longest and only time I will ever care to do that again clocking in at just over 12 hours at my local Walmart. All I have to say is it was a good thing it was a 24 hour supercenter so the wait was indeed indoors.

I have also learned my lesson on buying expensive electronics day one with that box because not even 2 weeks went by and it RRoD on me. Wait Mircosoft never fixed that major issue and it's still present in the new 360 shorts only now it's a red dot warning you it's about to shutdown due to overheating lol! Well most of the time quality products are release to the public. While it was fun wait with all the people at launch that will be the only time i'll be in a new console line.

How many gaming websites have the word "game" in the title? Maybe just maybe Jeff wanted the site to be different from all the others when he created it? It's just a thought?

Microsoft should have announced the proper name for their glorified Eyetoy camera a lot sooner than this in my opinion and that was a mistake. The Natal name has been adopted by the press and gaming public for months now. Thus making it honestly friendlier and easier to say. The way Kinect is spelled is unattractive and I don't even like to say it. Just curious to see how this does once it's released and i'm not seeing much right now.

My personal interest in Natal is slim to almost none now but i'll still call it Natal whenever I talk about it.

With a game line-up like that they are setting up for the biggest Epic Fail in gaming history!

Nintendo has already done this and did it right from the beginning with the Wii. You want motion controls to work you ship it from day one as a part of the console. Also Nintendo is the "Disney" of game consoles and just "Kinects" better for casuals and families period. Neither Microsoft nor Sony can take that away from them anytime soon. There are millions of satisfied Wii owners that could care less about this.

As for the 360 redesign it's only going to scare the casual gamers away to be honest. It's got more of an anger and aggression feel that's way left field of the direction they should be going! I'm sure the cost isn't going to help either?

Now as a gamer I like the new design and what it has to offer but that's me, also my current 360 has to RRoD again for me to even think about getting this! Maybe a trade-up?

Huge leak!

And it's Activision of all publishers? I wonder how much they paid for the Bungie team because it had to have been ginormous! The shock about this news for me is the Activision part but in all honesty a good move for Bungie! I've been waiting to see something else from the studio outside of Halo for along time now and the Microsoft prevented that. Ten years is not a lot of development  time and since Bungie equals quality that's about 2 to 3 games? Could they pull a trilogy? That said a fresh IP and the games being open to all platforms is aways a good thing! I just hope Activision does not Guitar Hero anything the Bungie guys do!

I find it strange because i'm the type of gamer who enjoys spoilers but i'm not the type of person to go and give anything away. I try to keep up with the gaming industry as much as I can so I have grown to except spoilers at one point or another. That said most of todays gaming ads tend to give away the best parts of games anyways, Modern Warfare 2 was a great example. Sure the ads take the best parts of the games out of context but it still spoils the game for hype. Not all game ads do that but with most triple A titles it's the norm and getting upset at a spoiler is almost pointless for me anymore.

I find myself always running into the dilemma of which console to to spend time with almost everyday. I own all of the next/current gen platforms and it's almost a curse that's hard to admit. In all honesty if I could go back and just own one I would but to say that is pointless at this point because I like them all! I guess it all ties in with each platform having really great exclusive titles locked to them. That right there is the curse for any gamer that there will never be a cure for and has created the console war with me.

Sure you can say 360/Live has the best online experience among them all but then again am I on my Xbox 360 enough to care? I have not been on or played a 360 game since Mass Effect 2 released and that is a single player game. I should also add I have a Silver account and it's not been Gold since the middle of last year and i'm fine with it. The PS3/PSN is a free online experience and is in my opinion equal to what Live has to offer for what I need it for. My experience with PSN has been great regardless to claims made by others and I still don't have to pay for it and that a plus! If I want to jump into a few Modern Warfare 2 matches I don't have to think of a subscription, I just play! That's the way it should be in my opinion. I admit both services are good but Microsoft had/has enough money to both pay for and police the Live severs for years. Should I have to pay to use Facebook or Twitter when I get a better and free experience with them right here on my PC? It's sad to think my 360 a console I once was obsessed with is now collecting dust waiting for that next great retail exclusive. That does not mean I don't play it, I do just not as much anymore.

Then we have the Wii which almost has no online experience what so ever but just a lot of fun to sit back and play. Sure it doesn't have the HD quality of the other two but then again does it really need it? I have had so much fun playing New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Super Mario Galaxy I don't even think about the visual quality at all. It is also a great feeling not to have to worry about things like an Achievement/Trophies system and just play the game for what it is. The Wii also has the motion controls which is a nice feature but in my opinion the gamer should have the option to use a traditional controller for all games as well.

It always comes back to exclusives titles regardless and if I had to choose to a single console I still could not do it to this day.
