@hadoken101: There is a difference between one dude taking a lot of punishment from one other dude, and someone getting nuked by outside interference and weapon attacks and still kicking out.
Wrestling Observer made an observation a bit ago that kinda sums up the problem with Roman Reigns, back when they were getting ready to push Lex Luger to the moon, it became very very obvious the crowd wanted Brett and not him so they switched gears and went with Brett. Had that happened today they would of Sami Zayned Brett right into the ground.
The difference being Okada got DRASTICALLY better over the coarse of his push and is now one of the best in the world, Roman is still boring ass Roman Reigns. The problem with the Roman push isn't the way they went about it, its the person they chose to do it with, at some point you have to recognize the guy getting pushed is not the guy.
And before someone says "but roman is over!" hes over with kids and there mom's who would cheer for anyone given that super hero like push.
Also I can't remember a single time Okada got "nuked" like Roman does and still kicked out.
It does feel like a lot of the big AAA games that come out are chasing the "because this is a popular feature" pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Like there is no reason for something like Mass Effect to have a big open world other then a bullet point on the back of a box.
That's pretty accurate. Games putting in features because they're popular rather than fit the game
Dont get me wrong Mass Effect CAN have all of the things that made the first 3 games great AND an open world but if you have to sac one for the other the open world is clearly the one that you ditch in that case.
AR Fox did an interview with ESPN leading up to his match with Killshot this past week on Lucha Underground
"We do some things that have never been done before on such a grand stage," Fox said. "[We] definitely risked injury and almost our lives with some of the moves. It's a death-defying match. To think that's what the body goes through and then heals itself. It's wild man. It's really, really wild.
I have to wonder if the hardcore fans are genuinely waiting on bated breath for a half-assed version of the Broken universe on weekly TV.
@papercut: Ingenious, hire this man. Just hold up three fingers and touch them together, simple. The original Elite were three dudes so it perfect makes sense to me.
Three Elite... Three three elite... we have been miss hearing the song this entire time :andre
@turboman: Money, Lawyers, the will to live... (also the fact that the delete gesture is just waving your arm and outside of wrestling kinda just a nazi salute.)
