I hope Patrick's story comes with an update about whether or not the Zombie bait edition is still going to go ahead. It's been very difficult to find out if it's still coming to Australia, and I want one.
I have a vague, hazy memory of Play School (a kids show here in Australia) was scrutinised a little, about 8 years ago for showing a family with two mothers... A few people acted like idiots, a few opposed them in a similar fashion. Most of the population kind of didn't care, at least not enough to say anything one way or another. Though i could be remembering it all wrong.
Many, many moons and 2 offices ago there was a quick look. One I still watch to this day when I need cheering up. (Note, there have been many awesome QLs but this is one I remember and thus can actually find the damn thing)
Okay fine ... for whatever fucking reason i can't embed or link the damn thing so you're going to have to do more work than just hitting play... Sorry, duder.
Try to find and then set up camp on a beefalo island (the ground looks like hay). Unless something changed in the last patch (yesterday I think) they'll be neutral if you never attack them (seriously, don't attack them, you will die. Also, be careful about accidentally clicking on them while holding tools.) and their poop is great for growing food, berry bushes and just using as vendor trash for science points.
Also, you can use them as shields if something starts chasing you. Kite enemies to them if you don't think you'll win the fight.
They snore pretty loud though, it might annoy you after awhile.
Are we throwing the baseball simply because they're interracial? Because I'm quite happy throwing a baseball at a non-interracial couple as well. Enjoying being a massive dick in games is not the same as racism, dear Bioshock.
I usually recommend people not visit Australia. I'm sure it looks pretty in all the promotional material, but I just get this sense that the tourist death rate is a lot higher than what should be acceptable.
Pretty much anything here will kill you. Animals, snakes, spiders, fish, jellyfish, plant life, weather, etc etc. And that's nothing compared to what I'm sure the people can (and possibly will) do.
