They should put mach rider on the virtual console first to get it more recognized (if they haven't already).  Then they can make a new game.

I played it before, it was fun...being able to make your own tracks was cool, too.

Ridley is an awesome character, but a playable character in SSB?  Naaah, I can't see it happening, it would be too awkward.
