For anyone that's interested, I've created a list of free games with useful external links. Feel free to suggest any additions, but I won't be adding anything and everything. I want it to be a list of stuff worth checking out.
I'm gonna give CO F2P a go. Like other(s) have said here, I have already played around with the Demo "Free Trial" mode that they currently have. This does at least help prepare noobs (such as myself) a little on how to play before diving into the "main world". I included CO in a list of free PC games I made here.
@Protonguy: You can add the rss feed link into iTunes and it will behave like any regular podcast subscription. In iTunes for Windows go to the Advanced Menu, select "Subcribe to Podcast", and paste the rss url into there.
My first reaction to all this is thinking it strange to pull a quiz show in favour of online poker. I would think that quiz games have a more universal and broader appeal than playing poker. Plus there are already umpteen competive online poker sites out there, but how many online quiz shows are there?
I completely agree with your sentiments Geno, but can't help feeling you created this elaborate argument just so your demand for Enslaved to be on the PC would be met :) - which isn't a bad thing. My weapon of choice is the PC too. The PC is not dead.
Assuming (and hoping) that the game is any good, I think this is a shrewd move on Telltale's part. They know that gaming fans such as ourselves will somehow get hold of the code without buying the blueray set. So I think they are giving the undecided "gaming public" a way to get hooked into buying the future episodes by giving this first one away.
Games I've played with a wireless 360 controller on PC include Assassin's Creed 1 & 2, GTA4, Resident Evil 5. If a game has the "Games for Windows" logo, then you know for certain that you can play it with a 360 controller if so desired. Assassin's Creed 1 & 2 don't have the GFW logo but they still offer support for the 360 controller. So you may find that there is more controller support for PC games than you realise.
Edit: Ah yes, thank you for reminding me Hashbrowns, I also played Batman Arkham Asylum with the controller.
You might want to check your website or something. I tried the link and the page is utterly blank (just a white page), absolutely nothing there. And if what ChrisTaran has said above is true, I don't think I'll bother with a half-assed podcast thanks.
