The old giant bomb app

Why is it that when i try to use the old giant bomb app on my ipod touch, if i click on a video it immediately takes me back to the video selection screen. It happens to my friend's app as well. Can i fix this, or is this something to do with the subscriber only new app that was released and i just missed this information?
