the whole peter dinklage thing, i havent heard enough to judge for myself about the performance, but the decision to use him seems far too motivated by trendiness, but then this whole voice acting thing is out of control in general, paying buckets extra for stars that lend characters a trivial novelty value more often than individuality.

Agree I thought it was totally distracting and added nothing. Half the time it sounded like Dinklage and that guy from the Wire were sleepwalking through their lines. Dinklage's readings were done completely out of context that line about the "space wizard" was cringe inducing. Honestly, I wish they would cut out all the stunt casting and call this game what it is, an MMO FPS.

My god, adding friends on the WiiU is clumsy. Got my copy today and added a bunch of folks. Feel free to add me as well. Plan to play a shitload this weekend and during the various E3 streams.

@watchdog_gamer: Honestly LPs and Twitch have taken the space that watching baseball used to occupy. When I'm working at home I often leave TwitchPlaysPokemon or Saltybets on continuously. I've never played either of these games. I also watch endless streams of Spelunky and Dark Souls despite having not player either for years. Its become the new sports, something that I half pay attention to.

Sometimes I watch LPs specifically for tips/strategies. Northernlion's LPs taught me how to play Binding of Issac, same with Bananasarus Rex's Spelunky streams. There is always satisfaction to watching someone skillfully perform something. When Titanfall came out I watched a ton of streams to figure out the best lines to run on maps. I haven't played a fighting game since Tekken 2 but I love watching fighting game tournaments for the player mastery. I

+1 to calling out Sony to release drivers for the DS4. Kinda interesting to see a picture of the controller linked to a Surface. I wonder how well it works?

If looks matter to you, get Infamous SS. My copy of WD hasn't arrived yet but I saw an in store demo and it didn't look as good. SS is one of the best looking console games I've ever seen.

Gameplay-wise it's an infamous game with the same old open world missions, a semi interesting story that you must suspend your disbelief to get through. The game is shallow as hell, but I don't think WD is any better. Seems like WD has way more content and online multiplayer. SS was an easy platinum, took me about 25 hours.

Honestly, I would buy whatever is cheapest. There are a few deals out there now for SS, and DLC is still to come. Sucker Punch did some pretty good add-ons for the last infamous. They'll probably do the same again.

AC4 for cheap may also be good. Gamefly has it for $20 used right now (link).

Isn't this show owned by Sony? Wouldn't it be awesome if Sony ponyed up some money and made it a console exclusive television show like Microsoft is doing with their TV stuff?

Besides Neuromancer, I would also throw in a suggestion for the more recent Blue Ant trilogy from Gibson if you want more grounded cyberpunk stuff. It has the same conspiracy flavor as Deus Ex but set in an alternate modern day. I love Pattern Recognition. The best books I've read about pants espionage. Also Dick's Scanner Darkly, the movie is also not bad.

I've never contributed to an Indiegogo before, if the campaign is not successful will you still print the shirt, or is the money just considered a contribution to Kite Co.?

I definitely had a double take when GMG sent me my code and I started to preload the 49gbs! I'm assuming its textures and audio files, but who the hell knows. Took more than 4 hours to download/install the whole thing. My main concern now is a gigantic day 1 patch and the server meltdown that this game will cause the first week.
