Don't worry about pronunciation in Japanese Jon, it's an absolute cakewalk. There are only 5 vowel sounds, they are 100% consistent (only variation is length), all consonant sounds a familiar to all natives of Germanic languages and the language itself is pretty much structured with nothing but consonant+vowel structured rhythmic syllables which makes is extremely easy to pronounce. Pretty much anyone over the age of 3 can learn to pronounce Japanese in less than 10 minutes... It's a cakewalk... Chinese is the impossible one...

So yeah, pronouncing Japanese is Easy. Learning to understand the language and read it however, that's tough as nails though. A total mindfuck really...

I'm sorry, but I think you need to fire Dan Ryckert. Liking Terminator 3 is unacceptable...

Isn't it the 20th? Started in 1995 and has been going every year since then and now it's 2014... That's 20 years of E3...

Only 8 GB of storage though... That concerns me as to their intentions... If they're intending to use this to make gaming through stream more established and accepted... I don't want that, I don't ever wanna give up that much control over what I play... If it's made with external drives in mind then I guess it's not as insidious but as of right, I'm not prepared to trust them just yet...

If you're missing Metroidvania's so much, why hasn't anyone over there given Valdis Story a shot?

Indeed... I mean, is there a game in the history of man that has aged worse than the first Toshinden? I remember seeing and playing it for the first time back in the day and it was just about the most amazing thing I'd ever seen, atleast as far as fighting games go and now 18½ years later it's absolutely atrocious... You'd be hard pressed to find a bigger drop than that...

Is it possible that you're just a big fan of your memories of Toshinden? Because those games are bad.

Also gotta say that I'm a big fan of Battle Arena Toshinden III, got that game for free and I loved it

Don't worry, I did too and the Top 10 turned out like this:
1 The Last of Us (45p)
2 Gone Home (33p)
3 BioShock: Infinite (32p)
3 The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (32p)
5 Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (28p)
6 Saints Row IV (20p)
7 Super Mario 3D World (17p)
8 Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag (16p)
9 Papers, Please (15.5p)
10 Rogue Legacy (13p)

So all in all fairly similar to their official list, most interesting detail is Saints Row IV in 6th which only was mentioned in passing...

I don't know, I think this look pretty neat. I mean, I'm not buying a PS4 anytime soon, but if I did I'd probably give this a go... At the very least I'd rather play this than Killzone...
