@taemun: Have you noticed the same encoder issues on the other whiskey sites videos? I haven't and it seems odd that the encoder issue would just effect gb videos.

To everyone experiencing the compression problem can you guys check out http://www.giantbomb.com/thursday-night-throwdown-110311/17-5202/ and see if you notice any problems in that? It looks fine to me and judging by the multiple camera feeds used during the video it seems like they had the new/fixed tricaster for tnt, so it's prolly a encode compression problem. How and why its happening on certain videos I still don't know. Has anyone noticed the same issues on the other whiskey sites video?

I wish I could add to the discussion on the video compression in a more elegant way but like the esteemed tofu medical professorial above this post stated, it's a real bummer trying to watch the tricaster pt 2 video and other videos with the same problem.

Its really werid that it only affects some video's like the jar time and mail bag videos are just fine. I'm no video wizard and could be completely wrong but it seems like anything that runs through the control room and then is compressed has theses weird issues, I mean live stream stuff looks fine and the jtv archive looks fine as well but its like hit or miss when an archive or quicklook gets posted to gb. The recent uncharted 3 tnt looks awesome wile the tricaster pt.2 is a hot mess.

Same for me also, its effecting all videos not just the whiskey videos for me at least
