I feel that Bioshock Infinite wins by default. It's the only game I know all of them played and enjoyed, judging by that spoiler cast. But that was so long ago who knows. I fear that Jeff would never let a zelda game as #1.
Get them while they last - the other DLC is 50% off right now. Usually it goes to 66% off at the most. If it truly is a price error, I think Valve will repay the publisher the amount of money they should have made if it were priced correctly.
LoZ: ALBW has less baggage and dislike towards it compared to Mario 3D World, and Jeff won't like Last of Us enough for it to win GOTY. Zelda will be the site game of the year.
Pick casual mode and pick normal difficulty. My friend, a first-time player of Fire Emblem but a fan of turn-based strategy, had to give up after finishing most of the game because it was too hard and his characters could die permanently.
@scribbly: Plants Vs. Zombies is the easiest one that I know about. Sadly it's not on PC. The Avengers, Paranormal, and Secrets of the Deep are all fairly easy. Add me on Steam.
edit: Part of pinball is learning how to play any pinball table. Compare it to playing an FPS for the first time. You'll have no idea what's going on. But once you learn the basics you can play other FPS and still be able to play.
