I can't choose just one, there's so many games this generation that blew my mind or put me in awe, but for me right now it's either Dark Souls or Mass Effect 2. Dark Souls put massive amounts of fear in my heart, I haven't been that terrified since Silent Hill 2. Romancing Tali in Mass Effect 2 really struck me and the suicide mission gave me goosebumps. Still, this generation isn't over yet and I've played so many games that I can't remember them all right now...
Demon's Souls, I fucking love that game, but when I first started it I played through 1-1 and then I didn't play it for weeks because I was so afraid to die. I'd start up the game, load my character and then you stand in the nexus for about 10 minutes before I just turn it off again. I did finish it in the end though...
During the summer last year I came home from work at 16:00, a couple of friends came over and we played Starcraft II all night. I then left for work at 5:00 (my friends still playing), again I came home at 16:00 and my friends had slept all day at my house. We immediately started playing more SCII up until ca. 23:00. The next day I was completely destroyed, went to work, came home and slept all evening and all night. Good times!

The site I used to work for used gamespress.com, this was 4-5 years ago though, but you could check it out. You need an account to get all the press releases, I'm not sure how you get it.
- The angels want to kill War because they believe the rumors about him starting the apocalypse early.
- The council set him up because they knew about Azrael and Abaddon's plan to start the apocalypse early (This was to give Heaven the advantage in the war). The council didn't want to be assassin's so they couldn't intervene directly, this is why they set him up, because they knew War would do anything to clear his name.
And that's about it I think. Really looking forward to Darksiders II, it's gonna be amazing!
