Logitech Instruments... Would You Buy?

Recently it was announced that Activision had announced a partnership with Logitech to develop some "premium instruments" for the Guitar Hero franchise.  I recently received some info from work detailing release, price and platform.

First is the guitar is to be released for X360 platform and priced at $399 AUS (roughly estimating $259US, but that could be hella wrong).

Logitech Guitar

First It is made pretty much like an electirc with a solid wood body and solid neck and head with frets and so on with the coloured buttons and slide built into the neck.  Pretty much the only differnce from a real one is the lack of strings and  pickups

Second is the Drum Kit which is to be released for PS2/PS3 priced also at $399 AUS.  I can't find a picture of it anywhere except from the stuff I've seen at work. So I'll try to describe it if I can.  first off the 3 pads and 2 cymbals are all built on to one solid steel frame.  It is also portable with the ability to fold it flat for easy storage (which is very handy) and the kick pedal is pretty much made like a real pedal except without the actual kick and springs. The kit is also angled up and towards you so the frame doesn't get in the way of your performance.

These instrument are apparently to be released in September in Australia which probably means USA would get them a bit earlier.

But my main question to the GB community and what I wanna find out is would you buy? granted that they would be much much better quality than the crap that came with Guitar Hero, but would you pay the money or would you just go buy the real thing for a little bit more?

The drums seem interesting cool but as someone who balks at the price of a regular GH/RB package, I wouldn't go near these.

For a second there, I thought you meant Logitech were making REAL instruments.

I agree w/ Bigandtasty, the plastic instruments are already pushing it.  I'd rather drop them 250 bones on an ACTUAL guitar.
