  • drac96 replied to the topic Technical Issues in the Borderlands board.
I haven't experienced any slowdown during actual gameplay, except for during split screen co-op. The only time I had a real frame rate problem was during the end of the opening cinematic. However, I'm only level 15 so I can't speak for the rest of the game after that point.

  • drac96 replied to the topic PS3 Problems? in the Borderlands board.
I have been having a few odd problems when playing my copy of Borderlands, and I wanted to know if other PS3 users were having the same problems, or if it could be my copy of the game. Thanks in advance -During the opening cinematic when the woman talks to you the frame rate was terrible. -When changing areas the load times range from 2  to 5 minutes. -When you quit to the ...

Whenever I try to enter Skag Gully the PS3 tells me that my game data is corrupt, and I can't play again unless I reinstall the game.

This was a tough choice, but I would have to go with Psychonauts. This was one of the few games where I actually laughed out loud a lot.

Now, I will not lie here. I was expecting this website to be mediocre at best, a mixture of facebook and wikipedia. Now the facebook aspect holds true sure, but I can live with that. The wikipedia aspect was kind of bugging me, because I figured it was going to be iust like wikipedia and any submissions were instantly shown on the site. The amount of moderation to this site is immense, and it must be tons of work to keep up with. Things I have submited have actually been rejected ( a few times because I'm a moron), and that really impresses me. The idea to create a single website that contains all the info you could ever want on video games is a great idea. Something about this site draws me in, like an addiction. Maybe it's the fact that I am actually contributing to the site by making editations on my favorite games, or maybe its just the fact that I'm always obsessed with ranking up and collecting points. Only god knows what the real reason is. I just wanted to make this post saying how awesome I think this site is, and that I will definitely be sticking around for quite a while!

Hmmm. I saw that Giant Bomb had finally opened up, and I decided to check it out. So far I am very impressed with the site as a whole. Very user friendly, even though it is taking on the facebook type of trend. I will post something more meaningful if the time or need ever arises. So for now I'm just going to look around and test out all the cool features this site has to offer.

Hit and Miss (PS3)
Well, I was really pumped for Soul Calibur IV to come out. Once it did I went down to the local Hollywood Video, which for the first time ever had a game for rent on launch day. The game was amazing at first, but steadily lost attraction. Maybe it was ...

Chrono Trigger: The best game of all time (SNES)
Chrono Trigger was one of the first role playing games that I ever finished entirely. This may be the reason why it became my favorite game of all time, but there is much more to it than that. Like every good game Chrono Trigger is good in many aspects. ...
