I tried making a stick from scratch - I failed, miserably. Stupid soldiering and trying to hack a Madcatz PCB. The triggers don't work, the buttons are glitchy and have a tendancy to stop working. I should tell myself to get bent. Next time I'll just buy a plexiglass / metal base, stick all my crap in it and get someone professional to soldier using a custom PCB that doesn't need so much modding. Ugh. Every time I think about I feel like crying or crawling into the corner to die, I spent too much time and too many resources on this. I f'ing suck! Damnit all!
I have a sanwa stick with all the cool bubbles inside an orange top. Some type of buttons, they arn't crappy american ones, but they arn't sanwa either. Ugh. My case is made of wood, that my dad helped build.
I guess i'll buy a regular madcatz stick for MVC3 when it comes out. Argh!
All because of the stupid PCB, and I had to buy like 3 controllers to find the right one, and then the stupid triggers need an inverted signal/current. God! What a nightmare!
At least it was an interesting learning experience I guess. I should have just modded a regular SF4 stick :(
All this was before you could buy a fight stick and they costed a whole lot.
If you'd like to puss-i-fy your gaming experience, head over and play LoL. HoN is much more like DOTA. This isn't a game you can play while you sit in your chair, legs up on your desk while you casually eat a sandwich -- hell no! LoL is like DOTA with training wheels permanently attached...is this the kind of game you want to play? Hah!
While I can say I hate some of the character designs and art, it is LEAGUES better than LoL. See what I did there? Heh-heh.
You run into morons if you play public games-- sure, but this is a problem with all team-based games online. Especially when so much is riding on every team member. Works better than DOTA because you actually have stats, and leaving frequently will mark you as a leaver- unable to join most games. You can tell if your team is going to be trash by looking at public stats and can leave before the match starts and you're screwed.
They still have to add my favorite heroes from dota, like Ursa warrior, Meepo, and Viper - still waiting!
(the) Black Panther, NightCrawler and Beast from X-Men, I think Cyclops is lame.
Lizard from Spiderman
I'm glad they included Super Skrull, and Deadpool, they are really bad-ass.

This recently fixed all my graphical corruption errors. I would get polygons ripping apart and filling the screen and strange green/teal/red render target corruption crap all over the screen in some areas. These problems would happen intermittently; randomly. VERY ANNOYING.
At first I thought it was my graphics card dying, but it couldn't be so -- the card was brand new, and no other games were crapping up. It had to be DA: O.
I would have to use a step-through technique of saving and reloading to get past some very troublesome spots.
Sadly this fixes a bug where you could slowly redistribute any stats you wanted over several level-ups, altering stat attributes one-by-one.
Good job bioware, it's just a bit late.
I had a DLC error when I patched, I had to log-out, log-in, disable all my DLC and re-enable them when I loaded a save.
