" Yeah, the first two seasons of TNG are absolutely terrible, but the entire series of Enterprise sucks. "

Quoted for Truth!  I don't think I saw any of Enterprise which really grabbed me and made me want to watch more;  I saw a lot of it that made me say "Wow, I can't believe they did that".  I vaguely remember an episode where the Federation was a dystopia.  I think it was billed as a mirror universe, but I didn't enjoy it.

The Next Generation is definitely one of the best.  Deep Space Nine was pretty cool too.  I haven't seen enough of the original to pass judgment on it.  TNG is kind in the way it will allow you to skip around almost at will, because there's not always a whole lot of interconnectivity in the series.

But really, Enterprise kinda sucked.  I don't think it was the actors, I think it was the writing.  It's like the guys writing it didn't know what it was really about.

That is interesting.  Of course, the people who did the actual programming probably aren't seeing any of that money anymore, but it is interesting that you can earn so much money with old games.

My spoils are peace and quiet.  Call me a spoil-sport, but I don't shop much just because it's a holiday, and I hate having to push my way through crowds.

Don't they get that, when we buy a game used, the cost is effectively split across two people?  There's some value for the first user, and then some for the second?  That gaming is good because it's a relatively efficient form of entertainment?

I think she just honestly has no idea what she's saying.

I know North Korea is insane and all, but as I recall South Korea has been drilling awfully close to the border and using live firing weapons ("Not pointed at North Korea!").  The news isn't covering the whole truth.

Personally, I think the USA should do a little more minding its own business and less meddling in the world.  I miss George Washington's old policies.  Korea is a mess of epic proportions.

" My opinion when it comes to these subjects can boil down to a rather short but nonetheless valid sentence, I believe:

How will smashing vans fix anything?

Seriously, the guy in the last picture describes that one of those adolescent stereotypes that I simply cannot avoid to hate: poorly dressed, foolishly idealistic, most likely pseudo-intellectual, idiotically vandalizing government/private property believing that will make a difference? There he stands, all full of himself, making a show for everyone, fighting for his rights in the most immature way possible. Despicable. I respect Mracoon for the sit-in you mentioned: it demonstrates how unhappy the group of people that took part in the protest are, without hurting or destroying anything.  But honestly, we've seen the violent sort of riots happen over and over. Basically people who have not met life yet and have not met disillusionment and cynicism, shouting out with all the energy of their youth for some cause. The cause is valid, but what on earth are they doing to fix it? Drawing graffiti that read "REVoLuTIon"? Grow up. "

As an American, I'm gonna say that while a little smashing doesn't help anything, an awful lot of smashing makes all the difference.  We called it the "Boston Tea Party" and it was part of a bigger movement that had lasting impact.  I can't in good conscience encourage that kind of activity, but I'm not surprised it's happening.

Perhaps, if the youth are desperate enough to smash random vehicles, the problems are finally big enough that they need addressing?  It sounds like there was money promised for votes during the election , and you can't expect the electorate who voted for you to take it lying down if you ignore them.  The difference between "Free" and "Three times what it used to cost" is pretty big.  You should be glad he's not smashing faces.

I'm surprised I can see how this is actually not a bad move.  I see this and I consider getting a DS again.  I probably won't (too much else to get), but it puts it in my mind.  It's less of an engineering improvement than a marketing device, but selling games is important too.

I try to play the games I review quite a bit before I review them.  I'm not a pro, which probably does mean that I haven't got a reason to run off and write one quickly since it's unlikely anyone will read it and absolutely nobody will ever care anyway.

What if it's a curse word, but it's so obscure nobody even knows to be offended?
