You're against smoking or you're for permitting the government to interfere with other people smoking? I'm not for people playing World of Warcraft, but I'm not going to send DEA agents to break up WoW rings and send the people who play it to jail. "
I am against smoking, so I am against the legalization of marijuana no matter how subtle. "
You just aren't very intelligent. This saddens me because I have to live on the same planet with someone who thinks that his opinion of something warrants whether or not it should be legal.
Just because you don't smoke doesn't make that justification for voting against it. If we used that kind of thinking then anything you didn't do should be illegal. How about... I don't smoke but I respect the rights of others to do what they want to their body as long as it doesn't negatively affect me. That sounds more like responsible and adult thinking.
I have decided to sell my gaming computer. I will part it out or sell it as a complete package minus the power supply and hard drives. Core 2 Duo 6320 CPU w\ 4mb L2 cache - Gigabyte P35-DS3R motherboard - 2gb DDR2 memory - $170 full tower aluminum case w\ acrylic window - $30 Nvidia GeForce 8800GTS w\ HDTV output - $90 or best offer
I can get the entire system for 250$ and a power supply for 50. I have HD and DVD Of my own. Is it worth it? If not what would you do?
Additonal information:
I mainly play WoW and am wanting to play the new StarWars MMO. I have 1800 dollars sitting in my pocket and have about a 10 year old dell sitting here with a geforce 5500fx that runs about 10fps in a 25 man raid on the LOWEST settings. It is time to upgrade and I don't know how much to spend. I am contemplating a 1250$ system with i-7 930 and 6gb with a GTX 460. Or, I can get this and save 800 dollars. I do occasionally do video editing and I want something that will last me. WHAT SHOULD I DO????
@MonetaryDread: I was excited about the PC before I read about and ordered the GTX 460, now I am dieing waiting for the parts to arrive. I have literally never been this excited over any purchase. It's my first build, so wish me luck!
I give up trying to post links to my gaming system. GB is failing miserably atm.
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R w/ sata 3.0 usb 3.0 Intel i7 930 palit gtx460 overclocked sonic edition 6gb gskill 1600 tri channel memory 850 watt power supply with blue led thermaltake armor a90 case with blue led 1TB 7200 rpm 80GB SSD
Got it all for 1129 with shipping included. Had to use some bundling sku's and a promo code to achieve the price. Will be using my old G15 gaming keyboard and mouse. Sound will come via the onboard 5.1 controller and I am using a 5.1 logitech speaker system I had laying around. I will be playing on a 23" lcd.
just spent 1150 dollars on a new pc. just the tower, not including the monitor and keyboard/mice/speakers. It is pretty much top of the line everything. you can get away with 800-1000 if you use your old hard drive and dvd drive. otherwise expect 1000-1250 for a really awesome system. A mid level system could be done for 750
as far as bioshock clogging up your card. doesn't suprise me but sc2 and old republic do not take much gfx at all. the guys who made old republic said it will be on par with world of warcraft.
I'll link my system here in a minute with prices for reference.
