The Vita was a huge "meh" to me.. until they announced that Persona 4 thing. P4 is in my top three favorite games of all time, how could I not take in more P4? Is it too much to hope for a console version?

The worst part about this is, this means that the catwoman parts of the game can be removed and not effect the story in any way apparently. Instead of integrating what should have been a central part of the game, it's only crafted to be easily lopped off the side so that they can sell it separately.

Even if you're buying the game new, they still chopped up the game and subsequently altered the story in order to do this. Same with every other pre-order DLC. This is not right, never has been, never will be.

The list of companies I'm willing to buy from has shrunk to almost nothing in just a few years time. I am absolutely sick of all this money and dicing mucking up my games. They're supposed to be art, the newest and highest potential form of art. You don't chop up the Mona Lisa and sell it in pieces.

I am certainly getting tired of being treated like a criminal by all these publishers. I can't think of any other industry with such poor respect for their customers that get away with it too. It's only the publishers that actually have money that do this too. You don't see Atlus scraping the barrel for dollars like this.

It's very frustrating because I want to support the developers as much as I can, but I refuse to give money to EA, Activision, and all the others that still treat us like children to be punished.

I played SH2 for the first time a year back and I thought the voiceacting was pretty spot on. It doesn't consist of beautiful renditions of the script, but it wasn't supposed to. These people felt more real and slightly twisted with the shaky and uncertain voices. Sometimes slight flaws can work in favor of a game, this one in particular. Providing both voiceacting options would turn this from a "no buy" to a "maybe" for me.

I hated Eddie though, but I'm not sure a VO change would fix that.

I do have to agree, no open world game since GTAIII ever matched that feeling when you first played GTAIII. I played it for the first time at a cousins house and it totally blew my mind away. I couldn't believe it existed; being able to drive wherever you wanted, exit and enter other vehicles at will with actual physics and damage modeling, and explore an entire city with few barriers in a three dimensional world. It was so groundbreaking to me.

Not even any other GTA game gave me the same feeling. I suppose once you've played one open world, you've kinda played them all.

The people heavily concerned with this have every right to be concerned. Normally I would reserve judgement, but this is EA we're talking about. They meddle with games that aught not be meddled with. Much more than likely, multiplayer is being tacked on for all the wrong reasons here.

And when you consider the resources that need to be put into online functionality, it's disappointing when you think that those resources could have been put into making the single player more awesome.

The people who don't understand his relevancy to the videogame world really need to look at the big picture, he's done much more than just selling ipods the last 50 years. Do you really think that bringing the computer to the domestic household has nothing to do with gaming? Even if he's not necessarily an inventor, an invention is nothing if you can't deliver it right.

I don't own a single apple product but I recognize your contributions to be something great, Steve.

I do agree that this pricing model will likely doom the game. With all these MMO's in the market, it just doesn't make sense unless you've crafted the most awesome experience ever. Sadly, under EA, I doubt that will be the case.

15$ a month is really huge for a single game. Probably to pay for all those meaningless, over the top CG movies they made.

Demon's Souls takes a little while to "get it". I was put off because I kept dying over and over on the first stage and I gave up for a little while. I then went back and finally managed to conquer that first boss.. and it felt good. I kept playing and it eventually turned into my favorite game of this generation. Everything about it is just right, the challenge, the skill, the level design, all brilliantly crafted.

Don't let all these tales of difficulty push you back from trying it. It's almost never unfair or arbitrarily hard. It is skill-based hard, something you rarely see nowadays. Once you get the hang of it you'll be destroying everything in your path, but you'll still be harshly punished if you let your guard down.

It's a game that marketing would never allow to be made, but it's a game people should appreciate that exists in this current gaming climate.
