Anyone else find it rather odd that the "2" on every Mass Effect 2 image has used the same font as Gears of War 2. Hell, with the red box around it, it almost looks copy-and-pasted from a Gears 2 ad. Is there any information as to why this font is used, it just seems so out of place?
EDIT: Nevermind, found a response on google. This thread can be locked, deleted, or whatever a mod wants to do with it.

All the internet knows is 'soon'. I'm sure it's just a matter of a little bit of legal and then actually getting all the files officially before it goes on.

" @Sparky_Buzzsaw: I'm not sure I would qualify the MechWarrior series as "deep."  I would put it in the category of "sim lite" personally.  It has some depth, but isn't simmy-overwhelming.Reading through the IGN interview, I find it interesting that they didn't mention PS3 at all.  I wonder if they're hoping for MS to be the publisher. "
You're right, it's not quite Steel Battalion, but it's a good mix of both action and sim as it pulls people that love both together. And they could be looking for Microsoft to publish, it would be a natural (and somewhat ironic) fit.

Smith & Tinker is the company that was created out of most of what was left of FASA. They where able to get back most (if not all, I'm not sure) of the FASA licenses back in '07. So, yes, this is being made under the guiding hand of what made anything involving the Battletech series awesome.

Oh, and about the console release: who knows, they might pull a Ace Combat and get a joystick for it if they get a publisher that is willing to help fund the peripheral.

The general Final Fantasy series (FF7 in particular). I admit, I can find some entertainment in JRPG's (take my love affair with, arguably, the most grind heavy of the bunch: Dragon Quest) but 90% of the Final Fantasy games just did nothing for me. They don't grab me as it seems to do to just about everyone else. That said, I like SOME of them like the Tactics games, 9, and the first.

This product was just what I needed! I applied in the area of discomfort and my hemorrhoids disappeared without a trace!

" @Jeff: Since all of those seem to be Xbox 360 games/achievements, can I ask what the most popular games & achievements on steam are? And I'm not particularly interested, but I'm sure some people would be interested in the most popular WoW achievements too. "
Since Steam hasn't been in as long as 360, the numbers are a bit skewed in favor of the 360. When I tighten it up to the last week of traffic, it'll probably start to even out a bit. The data isn't broken up in a way that makes it easy to search out specific games right now, but after giving it a glance, it seems that the most popular Steam achievement is...

...from Plants vs. Zombies.
"
I think what he's hoping for, me as well, is not only an overall popular achievements but ones that are also specific to each service like WoW, Steam, Live and eventually PSN.

"The entire nation of South Korea was engulfed in riots today at the announcement that alleged video game 'StarCraft II' will not support locally hosted games. Several of the rioters where heard chanting 'You make us beg: no more lag'."

...and so begins the reformation of Korea against the western world...
