I was a zombie in a short film

So a friend of mine makes movies. He's super talented. For Halloween, he decided to make a short film about zombies. Pretty run-of-the-mill stuff, but still fun as a gore-heavy zombie thriller.

I was a zombie in this; look for the brown shirt. They actually had to recycle me a few times as different zombies on account of this being a basically no-budget short film.

We had fun making it! Hope you have fun watching it.

That was pretty good!

I usually like to point out the bits that struck me positively because they were unexpected or original, and to do so as spoiler-free as possible.

I liked the wide shot of the front of the car during the "standoff." Situations like that aren't generally given such objective perspectives.

The pre-credit ending was abruptly unusual as well. Zombie movies aren't generally very honest about things like that.

The post credit circle also gave an uncommon perspective to characters' interactions. When the situation is always on, your actions suddenly affect things more immediately.

The nod to Shaun of the Dead was a nice touch as well!

Wow! That was so good!

The only criticism I have is that the dialog is a bit corny. But I suppose that sort of fits, right?

The rest of it was amazing! I was literally saying "This is great!" like every thirty seconds. Haha. I don't know what that dude's head was made out of to crush so well at the beginning, but that was fantastic. The effects, special as well as visual, were very well done. The audio was something I noticed right off the bat, as well--great sounds and ambient noise.

Amazingly done. And nice zombifying, sir. :)

WOW! I really didn't know what to expect... but sheeeeesh that was awesome!

Like the guy above me said, some of the dialogue was cheesy, however, I legitimately didnt see the ending coming. For that alone I am impressed.

The zombies were fantastic! If that was you in the dark brown shirt clawing through the door (it made me feel quite uncomfortable really - just proves it was authentic) then well done!

I reallly enjoyed the first scene in the cornfields (?). I thought the camera shots there and ambient sound was really well done. Also, I loved the chase through the field. And MAN are those zombies fast and smart.

Not bad! The effects, gore, and action were all excellent for a shoestring short like this. Like others have said, the dialogue was pretty silly sometimes, and some of the characters' actions were pretty absurd, but overall it was tightly made. The end was very good.
