Games I want

Every game (I can remember) I want, but don't own. Some old, some new, some I've actually owned at one point but no longer have, these are games that have caught my curiosity and I plan to eventually get. I will be continuously updating this list so if you like it check back regularly.

An important thing to keep in mind is I won't comment on compilation games because they can all be summed up in the following sentence: I have a soft spot for classic games, I want to own as many as possible and compilation games seem like a really easy way to do that.

Not trying to be patronizing or anything just thought it would save some time and prevent the tediousness of me copy and pasting the same comment over and over again for compilation games.

1. Bayonetta

I like the look of the Devil May Cry gameplay and insane story just enough to get this game.
2. BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend

I hear that this game adds some cool stuff to Continuum Shift. Being a fan of that game I'm down for this.
3. Fallout 2

When I played Fallout 3 I was blown away. When I seen how different it was to it's predecessor it was somewhat shocking. There's quite a leap from F2 to F3. I purchased the original Fallout not so long ago. Not done with it yet but when I am, I will be moving on to this game.
4. Final Fantasy IX

The only FF game released on PS1 that I did not buy. I want this game purely on that basis. I hear it's a fairly decent game too.
6. Trials Evolution

Trials HD was awesome, in fact even when I played Trails as a flash game it was awesome. Hearing that Trials Evolution is even MORE awesome than it's predecessors makes this a must get on my list.
7. StarCraft

A RTS is an interesting creation. One I'm growing more fond of. As this is considered one of the supreme RTSs I think I have to check it out.
8. Left 4 Dead 2

Big fan of the original, heard this one wasn't as great but I still want to give it a go.
9. Duke Nukem Forever

I know about the terrible reviews and such, but I just want to see how this game finished. Not sure if it's out of respect for Duke Nukem 3-D or sheer curiousity. Probably a mixture of both.
10. Mass Effect 3

I'm not even finished ME1. Not that I'm a slow gamer, I'm on my 3rd or 4th playthrough of ME1 and I'm not quite done with it yet. My love for the original has led me to buy ME2 which I have still to play. More than likely I'll be buying ME3. Chances are though I won't be playing it for at least a year though.
11. Dark Souls

This game is known for being hard and I want to be challenged as a gamer. Match made in heaven, eh?
12. Batman: Arkham City

Thoroughly enjoyed Arkham Asylum, so much so I got the 100% completion statistic and all the achievements. Seems only logical to pick this one up.
13. Crash Bandicoot

Never owned this game but I owned most of it's sequels. Interested to see how it started.
14. Spyro the Dragon

Basically the same story as Crash Bandicoot. Never owned the original, want to see where it all began.
15. Resident Evil 2

Massive fan of the series but I never owned this game. From what I hear that's practically a crime for a hardcore Resi fan. Personally, I feel like I HAVE to get this.
16. Shenmue

I once did on a copy of this game, and now I want it back.
17. Shenmue II

Shenmue was possibly my favourite game on dreamcast, would very much like to see how the series continued.
18. Power Stone

Power Stone 2 was possibly one of the funnest games I have ever played. Crazy and kick-ass I'd really like to see how the series started and the original game played.
19. Chrono Trigger

I remember I saw a concept art picture of the main protagonist looking cool with a sword and crazy hair when I was young and have wanted this game ever since.
20. Super Mario Bros. 3

I guess the only reason I want this is because it's held is such high regard. Often argued as one of the best of the series, if not the best.
21. Resident Evil 4

I actually own this game on 2 different consoles already, but I would quite like to own the original Gamecube version.

24. Capcom Classics Collection: Volume 2
25. LittleBigPlanet

Always enjoyed creation games, going to try and dedicate myself to this if I get it.
26. Mirror's Edge

Personally I just like how original it is.
27. Sonic Adventure 2

Loved Sonic Adventure, heard this is more of the same. Just what I want.
28. Gyakuten Kenji 2

It's a shame that so far this hasn't been realised outside Japan. Would really love to play it.
29. Spider-Man 2: Enter Electro

I really enjoy this games predecessor but never got round to getting a copy of this one. I need to change this.
30. Xenoblade Chronicles

Heard so many good things about this game, enough to make me want it.
31. Pandora's Tower

Don't know a lot about this game but it looks pretty cool and original.
32. Resident Evil 0

Classic RE gameplay, and canonical story. I want.
33. Resident Evil: Outbreak

Despite mixed opinions and reviews surrounding this game, I want to get it just to see what it's like for myself.
34. Jade Empire

Until recently I did not know this game was done by Bioware. If I could get my hands on a copy of this, I'd be very happy.

36. Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition
37. Klonoa: Door to Phantomile

I remember playing a demo of this as a kid and being quite impressed with it. Wouldn't mind another chance to play it.
38. Haunting Ground

I like survival horror. I like RE4 and the dog in RE4 is apparently from this. Ergo I like this game... yes I know that makes no sense.
39. Pokémon Trading Card Game

Imakuni?
40. Asura's Wrath

Hyper crazy interactive anime game. Sign me up.
41. Sleeping Dogs

Was really impressed with the live action trailer, enough so that I've been following this game ever since. Gameplay looks solid and the story/setting seems interesting.
42. Command & Conquer 3: Kane's Wrath

Yeah, I already own the map pack for this game but not the actual game. Don't ask.
43. Grand Theft Auto V

I put this on here like there's a chance I won't be getting it...
44. From Dust

I like this sort of "playing god" type game and was impressed with the demo.
45. Sam & Max Save the World

The adventure game genre is something I've had a few flings with in the past. Maybe it's time to reignite an old flame.
46. Guilty Gear

As my interest in fighting games has grown, I feel it's necessary to check this out. Looks beautiful and it's another reason for me to invest in a new PS1.
47. Dead Rising

I never really got into this game during the few short occasions when I played it, and I don't think I've done it justice. Seems original and I'd hate to let something like this pass without giving it a proper try.
48. Soulcalibur V

The last Soul Calibur game I played was Soul Blade and to be honest... I loved that game. I've let the series pass me by for too long now, it's time to pick it up again.
49. Dishonored

Sh*t looks cool yo.
50. Deus Ex: Human Revolution

Why not?
51. Vanquish

Super arcade action AND slow motion? Well, if you insist.
52. The Last Story

Needs further investigation.
53. Tropico 4

I like being the ruler of my own little island...
54. BioShock

Upon playing this game the first time, I didn't really invest myself into or pay much attention to the story. It's something I would really love to revisit to give it a proper play through.
55. Minecraft

Yep.
56. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Enjoyed the demo and I like the over the top atmosphere it has.
57. Binary Domain

I'm not even sure why I want this... but I do.
58. XIII

Played this once before but not enough to form a solid opinion on it, need to revisit it.
59. Costume Quest

Halloween RPG!
60. Comic Jumper

Heard the core gameplay isn't great but I really enjoy the witty writing and that should be enough to keep me entertained.
61. Forza Horizon

Seems like it borrows some of it's arcade style from Burnout: Paradise which I loved. I'm sold.
62. XCOM: Enemy Unknown

It just looks badass.
63. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic

Heard great things about this but never tried it for myself. Going to have to change that.
64. Parasite Eve

Before the times of Square-Enix... there was Squaresoft. And they made awesome games.
65. Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection

The best DBZ games on one disc? Well... how can I say no?
66. Skies of Arcadia

I remember playing a demo of this when I was a kid and thinking it was so awesome. Definitely going to be revisited!
67. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

I've always had a soft spot for horror games. The critical acclaim this game has received and the cult following it has, shows how beloved it is. I really want this game.
68. Guilty Gear XX Λ Core Plus

I'm a sucker for fighting games, despite being not very proficient at them. Oh well, another to the list.
69. Assassin's Creed

I kinda want to get this game just to see what all the hype was about at the time.
70. EarthBound

Just because.
71. Panzer Dragoon Saga

"One of the best RPG's of all time"? All right, put it on the list.
72. Namco x Capcom

Before Street Fighter X Tekken... there was Namco X Capcom!
73. Snatcher

Hideo Kojima. That is all.
74. Policenauts

I don't even know at this point.
75. Hotel Dusk: Room 215

Love the art style and the adventure elements. Definitely belongs on this list.
76. 999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors

Heard a lot of good things about this. Art style and story seems where it's at, enough for me to check it out.
77. Gone Home

Watched a 30 minute preview of this and was really impressed. The way the story is told seems really cool, will definitely be picking this up ASAP.
78. Fatal Frame

I can't resist a good horror game!
79. Clock Tower

Oh horror games, how I want thee.
80. Journey

Because I've heard it's magical...
81. Dear Esther

As pretentious as some people have made it out to be, I still want to get it. Looks like it'd be a unique experience.
82. Silent Hill

I absolutely adored Silent Hill 2, this seems like an obvious addition to the collection.
