As long as the cities contain the vast majority of historical monuments and buildings that they once had, I'll buy a new group of cities every year. I spend more on history books for research, and they're not nearly as fun. Gameplay is often the attraction when it comes to games; but it can also just be the means to an end. If content is strong enough, the gameplay won't matter. The "gameplay" of movies is merely sitting, watching, and pressing play, pause, or fast forward, and movies seem to keep their appeal. The "gameplay" of books is merely sitting, reading, flipping pages, and they've kept their appeal. Rythm games haven't died, their hardware and new discs have died. The content, playing new songs, is still alive and well. They don't require new gameplay, only new content. So keep it comin', I'm interested!Â
