I really truly believe that the Bible shouldn't be taken literally. It has some very good mesages, but its explainations of creation, like all religions, are outdated. They were conceived of at a time when people didn't have the means to understand the way the world worked. As we learn new things, scientific theories are debunked. People in Greece once thought that Gods lived on Mt. Olympus. Now we can travel to the top and see that there are no gods there. The problem with modern religions is that they manage to keep most of their explanations vague enough that they cannot be disproven yet. (Except for the timeline in Genesis. we can prove that the earth is older than they think.)
Have you managed to not have the game spoiled for you? If you haven't, PLAY IT PLAY IT PLAY IT! The first time I palyed it was an incredible experience.
I love this site because it gives me a reason to actually give a shit about achievements. Seeing how many achievements I got in one day, comparing to the rest of the site, and most of all: the rankings. I have never cared about getting all the achievments in a game until now. Some day I will get an S rank! Microsoft could learn a thing or two from Giant Bomb!
It does seem like a weird solution. It seems as though you should just simply not be able to transfer anything from your save file. That sounds harsh, but allowing you to carry over choices that lead to Shepard's death when s/he isn't dead makes absolutely no sense. Still, this is great news to me, because I was worried that the possibility of a dead Shepard would mean that ME3 would not revolve around Shepard as the central character (which looking back was really crazy of me to think).
Great stuff Jeff! I always love these kinds of traffic stats.
One of my favorite things about Giant Bomb is stat tracking. I didn't really care about achievements until I was able to see what rank I had in each game!
