Saw this on the Super Meat Boy twitter page:  " its a bit of a bitch but if you mute, go to settings and lower volume to 100 youll be fine."

Survey done ! :) I think the part that kinda put me off was the fact that the sound I get when I press the buttons can be out of sync with the music, and feel out of place (unless the user actively tries to play it in sync with the music). Most rhythm games are timed in a way such that the sound effects correlate with the background music (see Bit trip beat for example). Just my 2 cents ! I wish  you luck ..

Quick question to people who have already played this .. can it be played with the Analog sticks instead of the d-pad ? And if so, which one do you think gives better control ? I have a Nyko gamepad . was wondering if it would be good enough.

I don't get the point of people putting tl;dr in posts. Why bother posting at all ? :S

Also, difficult is not the same as having a steep learning curve.  Super Meat Boy (since everyone seems to be referencing it) looks hard as hell, but since the controls (run, jump) and basic concepts (get to Bandage Girl, don't hit ANYTHING) are simple, I'd say it's pretty easy to learn.  Like...Othello. "

That's actually a really good point. Though I wonder how you measure simplicity, I mean .. it's controls are easy, but to master those controls, the precision required to get through levels is pretty hard, don't you think ?

I guess from your point of view, DMC3 might be a better example right .. with all it's insane combos and all.
