3rd video posted, best yet because he sent units the long way around the entire map to attack my base undefended. I should have saw it coming but some quick reactions saved the game for me. Since this fight was the best I have captured yet it is the highest quality possible.

Second video posted, not that good of a match but still good. It is lower quality then the first but the 3rd video will compensate with the highest settings possible (and biggest file size).

I agree pirating games can kill the game and you shouldn't do it. At the same time if a company releases the bare minimum of what could be considered a game such as they did with Kane's Wrath I think if people did not buy a outsourced bare minimum of a game like that it would send a message to the company that we don't accept crap even if it is labeled C&C. Some would even argue that Generals is not a C&C game as almost the whole Westwood team quit and so the new EA LA team made a game outside the C&C universe but put the brand on it so that it could sell better.

The Red Alert 3 campaign is going to be co-op so you will get less out of the game if you play it alone. At the same time I want EA to understand if they want people to buy their game they need to actually care a quality standard like other PC companies do. If your a trusted name you will sell millions, if you are known to rush, outsource, & otherwise not care about the quality of your games then you will be lucky to sell a million. EA still does not understand this.

To be clear though I own every C&C game, in fact multiple copies of each thanks to The First Decade and will own Red Alert 3.

So yea, basically I have been told I went to far with the screenshots, which is funny because I have 500 more in my folder which I will never post on this page. I will still upload them to my gallery so you can view all of my screenshots, completely uncensored by mods, HERE. I know some of you enjoy the screenshots un-edited un-censored so your going to have to watch my gallery for that.

I will still be uploading videos but have not yet been given permission to upload them to the videos tab and instead am using filefront.com and linking them to my blog & forum post "Exclusive HD Red Alert 3 Beta Videos." on the Red Alert 3 page. Again, unedited HD.

As for the accusations that I am uploading content because I care about points and the like, I have requested my points be lowered to 5,000 as I don't care about them or like the attention they bring. I just like uploading screenshots & video of games I am playing. I find the whole points thing silly, and instead of gaining more points for one thing then another everyone should just get points based on how long they worked on whatever it is that they are doing. It should be an incentive for spending time on the site and doing anything. I find the whole argument absurd, content is content you either add it or you don't.

EDIT: My points won't be lowered as I asked however he said for me to make sure that I not add screenshots to the Red Alert 3 gallery that are similar to each other in the future.

My first video. I recommend downloading this as the stream sucks.

http://files.filefront.com/RA3GAME+2008+08+05+01+14+2MPG/;11368127;/fileinfo.html

My second video. Again, don't watch the stream it is horrible, download the file it is worth it.

http://files.filefront.com/ra3game+2008+08+05+11+01+9AVI/;11375836;/fileinfo.html

My third video, best game I captured on video and so it is the highest quality possible.

http://files.filefront.com/RA3GAME+2008+08+05+11+40+1MPG/;11387029;/fileinfo.html

I recommend using the free VLC Media Player to play all videos.

I will edit this post with more videos as I make them.

WARNING: This became a rant as I couldn't stop typing, sorry.

Nice reviews? It's not even out yet. If your talking about beta feedback there are several large bugs and exploits in the game at the moment. EA LA is really rushing the game out the door so I wouldn't get my hopes up of it being a heavily polished masterpiece, they are just now starting to create the campaign as the last units have been completed. The beta from what I herd is heavily using assets from Red Alert 2, although there are a few new unit responses and a few new music tracks most of it is from Red Alert 2.

On the other hand I already know I will personally be buying it no matter how good or bad it is. So the answer is yes I will be buying this game, I am just very skeptical, as EA is known to rush games out the door before they are ready.

Remember just last March EA LA launched Kane's Wrath which was the worst thing they have ever put out and at the last minute they decided to lower it from $40 to $30 because of how little it actually added to the original game. Pretty much everyone was disappointed with the campaign and minimal amount of effort placed into the 6 new factions by adding less then 5 new units per faction. The big thing that actually distinguished the factions was which units where remove from each one and the 5 new upgrades each had. They did the bare minimum for that expansion to siphon money out of Westwood's fans.

Am I hyped about the beta though? Why yes I am, I am insanely hyped about it, but I just know that they are a company that values money, not making their products the best they can be and not meeting any "High Standards." If a EA development team doesn't make profit they get fired/shut down, so every EA team knows that it's better to spend less time and money on a project and get it out the door then risking putting allot of time and money into it. Right now EA knows Red Alert 3 will sell a estimated minimum amount of units on the PC & Xbox 360 based on previous sales. That minimum number of dollars will be put into the project, that way no matter how good or bad it sells they will profit from it. The reason the release date is less then is so close is that is the time estimated that the project will run out of available funds at which point it is estimated to go over budget.

So in conclusion, I hope it is good, and will buy it, but I recommend you wait for every review to come in before buying.

NOTE: It should also be noted that Giant Bomb, Gamespot & IGN's reviews may be biased as Jeff, Jason Ocampo (IGN's PC Editor) and the remaining Gamespot team are good friends of Greg & Amir on the EA LA staff. Greg Kasavin personally said to Gamespot that he wants to earn their editor's choice award (9.0 or higher) on his first project when he left them so it will be hard for them to give anything less to him. This is Greg's first full game with EA LA so I expect a somewhat biased review from all 3 of those sources, which are all former co-workers of both Greg & Amir. They are all still good friends even though they are no longer co-workers. This is something I doubt any review from these 3 sources will note at the page. Personally I'd be biased too if I had good friends in EA.

The ironic part of this whole thing is that the only reason Amir & Greg got jobs at EA LA is because the former Command & Conquer team all left after a similar event happened to them. That’s why it's always big news and a celebration for the Command & Conquer community when any former Westwood guy decides he wants to continue his old work (Joe Kucan, Frank Klepacki for example), because 99% of the EA LA guys never made Red Alert 2 or any game before it. That was another team, it's another reason why the lore from Tiberian Sun was thrown out for C&C 3 and they had to release a bad expansion to explain themselves but of course they outsourced it to some simulation company instead of caring about it. Now the chance of a second expansion (as Kane’s Wrath was named episode 1 in the exe file) is highly doubtful.

TLDR: I'm buying it but I don't think you should get your hopes up, they have no quality standards and are not above releasing games early & incomplete as seen with Kane's Wrath.

I want it so bad I have been pretty much stalking anyone who is in it getting hundreds of screenshots from them and uploading them to Giant Bomb. Check the image section's Beta Screenshots page for all of the pictures I'm getting. Once I get in the beta I'll start taking tons more pictures.

I intend to completely pimp out this page with content once I get in the beta.

I put some further thought into this subject and they may skip everything that happened on the other side of the tower and simply start the next game with Kane returning to Earth with an army of Scrin through the tower and reclaiming The Brotherhood of Nod which has most likely split up yet again with him gone. At that point he would finally get his revenge on GDI with his new combined army. However the Overlords will still be alive and so another Scrin invasion will happen as the Overlord wants all of his forces to focus on getting more information on Kane.

Snide, one of the Whiskey guys up stairs, sent me a PM saying they should have a fix by tomorrow that will make it impossible for this bug to occur again, I just hope they don't disable the copy and pasting of pictures from one wiki to another as it really saved me allot of time as I pretty much updated every Command & Conquer page, I did have help but the majority was done by me. The reason I did that is because I'm waiting to be accepted into the Red Alert 3 beta.

It came from giantbomb.com, as I said in the first post of this thread I copied the work I had done on the Command & Conquer Red Alert page to the Command & Conquer Saga page to save time of trying to find the exact screenshots I had used out of my 1,500 submissions, and must have selected more then just the body of the page as that is when the edit button on the Saga page broke. So basically you have to be really careful when copying information you submitted on one page to another. Snide recommended I use word or notepad, however as I explained the pictures is really what I copy from one page to another simply because it is hundreds of times easier then trying to duplicate what I did on the Red Alert page.
