"I'm stating comparisons (people read between the lines), I'm trying to make a point about graphics. The Heavy Rain reference comes from the fact I'm sick of hearing people stating how good the game looks (who cares)... when its all said and done - the gameplay is what matters. I'll buy Dead Rising: CTYD simply, because the gameplay should be just as fun as the Xbox 360 version.
Believe me I'm not comparing the Wii to the PS3, because the Nintendo Wii can stand on its own two feet as it show in the sales chart. I'm just stating the obvious "gameplay over graphics." "
The problem is that by significantly lowering the number of zombies and interactive objects, Capcom has dumbed down the gameplay. People are not complaining because of how the game looks. They are complaining because this game is clearly not a good fit for the Wii, and Capcom is only porting it to cash in.
