I had 0 expectations and a blast playing it. I think Blizzard is just exceptional at making games. But they don't make "new games". They take known concepts and make them in a way that its interseting enough for engaged players and easy to pick up for everyone.
Just an idea but maybe You also changed in the last couple of years. But to a certain extent I agree, I'm also following Giantbomb since the blog and it HAS changed. Still the best video game site for my taste.
I'm in the EA and it looks pretty good so far. There's is a lot which they still have to implement and certain core feature require improvement (tactical map) but it looks solid and I already enjoy playing it.
I'm interested to hear some opinions on this game. How's the turn based combat if anyone has played it? Does it play like a mix of Might & Magic and Heroes of Might and Magic?
