I actually liked the first Mass Effect more -- was in my opinion more complex, more to explore, and less hand holding...and liked the Mako trekking. Hopefully 3 will feel less on rails

Never played Metro 2033 --plan on though-- sounds like a very viseral, gritty, atmospheric title
