I can't play this game because every character I make gets corrupted. It's hard enough trying to get into the shitty tutorial, let alone doing it multiple times only to have my character deleted. Cloud saves are working out great!
@starvinggamer: Same. Completed it on hard first time through, took 12 hours. Only bug I encountered was the save game glitch that caused me to lose about 3 hours. In-game I had no issues whatsoever.
There are only two enemy types in the whole game that are one-hit kill and the majority of the time you can completely avoid any confrontation with them.
Do we really think women would survive in these groups? A bunch of bloodthirsty men seems like a bad environment for a woman to be in, no matter how evil she might be.
Apparently it's a catalyst for where the series goes from here and is probably the most pivotal moment in the books. Not really surprising considering what it is, so I wouldn't question it until we know what precedes it. Martin definitely didn't ruin the whole show because of two deaths, at least for me anyway. Out of all the characters Robb is somewhere near the bottom in terms of interest, and Cat has barely featured this season. That didn't diminish the scene's impact, but I'm also not angry like a lot of the internet seems to be. It was a fantastic scene and completely unexpected despite the foreshadowing, and I'm invested in so many other characters, as well as the whole universe, that two substantial deaths isn't going to deter me. I'm just excited to see where it goes from here. Unpredictability is always good, especially when it comes to a character's fate.
I also don't know how that Martin quotes says he only did it for the shock factor. That may be part of it but it's much more about the story and creating suspense, letting the audience know that anything can happen to anyone.
The Xbox One is the same price, they just put it up super high so if people pre-order they're only going to lower it. It looks better than if they raise it and then there's no risks of having to honour the lower price for those who did order early. Always happens and is the same with the games. Made the recent Twitter furore over FIFA 14 being £90 on Amazon pretty funny 'cause it's never going to stay at that price.
One actual, real match under my belt so far, looking to play with some duders!
I'm pretty bad but I think I'm getting the jist of it. Played a few bot matches and then jumped into an online game in less than ideal circumstances. One guy died loads and then disconnected and another spent most of his time standing in the spawn doing nothing. Considering I was on my own most of the time and we were trampled I think I held my own despite dying way more than I would have liked.
As you can tell, we had no answer for Chaos Knight, lol.
I have the same issues I had with Far Cry 3 (which isn't really surprising). Works perfectly fine but after a while the sound starts making an odd popping noise (I guess that's the best way to describe it) and the the stuttering begins. Framerate sticks at around 60fps or so, but it feels more like 20fps. I've barely played Far Cry 3 because of it but I figured I would take a leap of faith with Blood Dragon, especially since it's a shorter game so I won't have to put up with it as much. I dunno, though, it's pretty bad. With all the game and driver updates it's disappointing it still hasn't been fixed since the stuttering seems to be a fairly common issue.
I don't know if I'm late to this Gizoogle thing but it's pretty much the best thing on the internet. Matching it with Giant Bomb just makes it even better.
I went tha fuck into BioShock Infinite wonderin if Irrationalwas content ta simply fall back on formula, swappin up hood beneath tha sea fo' a cold-ass lil hood above tha clouds, tha Big Daddyfo' Songbird, n' so on. I aint talkin' bout chicken n' gravy biatch.
As I said, this is all your fault Klepek! And I thank you for it.
I've always been aware of the Monster Hunter franchise but have never played or gone near any of them. That you were a complete newcomer and managed to figure it out and enjoy it gave me the courage to try it myself. I'm always willing to try new things and Monster Hunter is unlike anything I've ever played before and I love it.
Excited to see you start Dark Souls (something I'm already a massive fan of) and continue down this rabbit hole. Hopefully you'll unearth some more gems I can give a try.
