Hey, so I need a laptop for college, but preferably one that can run games decently for the next 3-5 years. I've narrowed it down to these two. Any pointers as to which I should pick? I'm a bit torn as of now, thanks.

P.S: Dumb question, but a BD-ROM would plays CDs/DVDs, right?

Man, I really like Patrick as a person and agree with his opinions more times than not, but this article has numerous, dumb mistake typos that I feel should've been caught in editing. I know these types of comments are nit-picky and shouldn't bother me, however, it honestly takes away from the legitimacy of an otherwise very thoughtful observational editorial.

@brainwins: I've listened to Rich's, Vinny's, Tor's, Brendan's, and Tom's versions to The HotSpot and I have also listened to all of the Arrow Pointing Down podcasts, as well as nearly every episode of the Bombcast. Out of all, I happen to think Vinny was the best host. Is there something wrong with nostalgia being a factor in who I personally think was the best host? The old HotSpot and the Bombast are pretty similar, so it's a fair comparison.

@John1912: Haha, yeah or the "You lost the game." bullshit. I get your point, I just thought that Bulletstorm's overall gameplay was somewhat fun and kind of different. That's why I awarded it my merit.

He is also a loud, belligerent host that detracts from an otherwise quite enjoyable and humorous podcast. The glory days, in my opinion, was when Vinny hosted The HotSpot before Jeff's firing. I know I'll get labeled as a flamer for this, and don't get me wrong...I think Ryan can be funny, I just think he is way too much of a sarcastic know-it-all to be heading The Bombcast. I really wish they would let Vinny or Patrick guest host at some point. Not to mention, the episodes Jeff has hosted over the years have been some of my favorites.
