If you're looking at my profile now, chances are you've deduced I'm a pretty massive fan of Savage 2. To that extent, I'm here to tell you that this weekend, it's available on steam for an incredible $10, saving $20 from its usual price of $30. I bought this game on release and it's definitely one of the best purchases I've ever made. It's a highly unique, indie game that is really unlike anything else I've ever played, for a good run down on the game, check out the wiki page or the official site.

For those of you who still aren't willing to throw down at $10 on something you havent played, there is a demo available. You can download the client from the official site and get a demo account there, which allows you to play the full game for 5 hours and get a good feel for if you'd like it or not. Beware a steep learning curve, but once you get there - its one of the best gaming experiences around.
