Hey, yeah all the games I'm playing are running perfectly really, just been a bit paranoid watching gameplay videos of Tomb Raider on YouTube using similar specs and not getting brilliant performance!

I SHOULD get an SSD, still not 100% convinced on them!

Here's a Speccy screenshot of my current specs (CPU temp is slightly higher than usual because I have Football Manager on in the background)

So I get paid tomorrow, and I'm planning on picking up Tomb Raider and SimCity - do you think my system needs an upgrade, or would it be fine to use for another few months to a year before upgrading something?

Thanks

Think my problem has something to do with me forcing myself to play through my games that I've owned for months and never touched

I just need to get back to my 'play what I want, when I want' motif

So there's a lot of games I've bought on Steam through sales like Arkham Asylum/City (City was free with my video card) and even launch games like Dishonored, and I haven't played any of them for more than an hour or two.

I do have a pretty good PC, but for some reason I just keep thinking I'll put more effort into them if I had them on 360/PS3, it's a bit weird.

Anybody else have this? I'm actually sitting with all the games in my basket, ready to rebuy.

I just had a realisation about how bad my backlog is.

I ordered Bayonetta the other day, expecting it to arrive tomorrow, and I just went through my games and realised I already fucking own it.

My backlog is so horrible that I'm not even going to include Steam games, otherwise I'd become depressed at the idea of money I've spent

But yes, post your backlogs and help each other to pick the games you should complete first

  • Far Cry 3 - half way through?
  • ZombiU - few missions in
  • New Super Mario Bros U - 3-4 worlds in
  • Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - not played
  • Dishonored - few missions in
  • Sleeping Dogs - few missions in
  • Alan Wake - not played
  • Max Payne 3 - few missions in
  • Devil May Cry 1 HD - few missions in
  • Black Ops 2 - few missions in

Just the ones I can think of off the top of my head, the more relevant ones I've played lately

Fucking do it, and then link it so I can judge if your voice is unique enough

Consider it done! In the YouTube world of American and English accents, anything else could be considered unique

I've been considering doing this for a good few months now, but I'm not sure if it's a stupid idea or not.

I think I'd quite enjoy giving myself the challenge of editing and making videos, possibly even doing commentaries. I'd like to think my broad Scottish accent would give my videos a slight uniqueness. I play mainly 360/PS3 games, but because there's so many people now on YouTube who make videos with so little views - it's a little off-putting.

Do you think at this point, when there's so many established video makers on YouTube, that it would be stupid to start up?

I own both, but I can't decide which one to play.

Good for a little mindless few hours of multiplayer

@SuperSambo: Sadly that doesn't work, I had the demo of UMK3 on my download history from years ago, and it wouldn't connect to the marketplace to let me purchase the full game.
