So, I can't be the only one enjoying a spot of Virtual Golf on a Sunday morning. After the quick look and it's appearance on Unprofessional Fridays I'm sure that some of you have also purchased The Golf Club. However, if your steam friends are anything like mine you probably don't know a single person who is also playing. And since it's a particularly social Golf game it would be good to have more people on my friends list who are actively playing and competing in courses. It'd also be nice to have a thread to act as a hub, and hopefully the game will implement some sort of community system into it later. For now however I guess the "best" way to proceed is to post steam profiles and add each other until something more sophisticated comes along.
@Dagbiker: Are subscriber numbers dropping like that though? To the point that they have to rename a quick look and make it premium?
It's 2 hours long. It's often not new content at all. It's not even close to following the original Quick Look format. Stop being so butthurt because there are some benefits to supporting this site. I'd be more than happy if they did more subscriber content like this, and increased the value proposition of subscribing. Like you said.. you didn't think it was worth resubscribing. So them increasing the value proposition of it, by having Flight Club is a bad thing? FUCKCCCCCCCCCCCCCK
I really think that they are on to something with this and so long as they can get the series out in a decent time (alongside the series, or just after s3 of the series finishes) then it'll do very well for them.
The amount of fighting game talent on that development team is crazy. With S-Kill running the show I'm way more interested now. I can't imagine how hilariously ironic it would be if PS All Stars ends up being one of the better competitive fighting games of the SF4 era (2009-present).
I mean the game is going to be released in around 3 months. The core of the game is going to stay. He will certainly be good for the future of the game and such, but I'm not sure everyone who only now believes now that S.Kill is on board that the game will be shitballs. He'll be involved in a small % of the game dev timeline.
I find it hilarious that when this was all first emerging, I read a lot of people talking about how fucked up Bath Salts were and it morphed into how fine Marijuana is and how it should be legalized. For it to be found out that he was only on Marijuana is quite funny, and although I have no doubts that it's not the cause of this and that the dude was legit batshit I can imagine this will not help the whole legalize marijuana movement.
