  • Encephalon posted a message in the forum topic So they have re-released the trailer with english VO. on the Final Fantasy XV board

Hard to tell from such a small sample, but it has that anime quality where every voice sounds affected, like everyone's trying to hit the register of their assigned archetype rather than sound natural...

  • Encephalon posted a message in the forum topic Specializations?. on the Dragon Age: Inquisition board

There are three specializations per class, which you can unlock after In Your Heart Shall Burn, a pivotal story mission. It's something you can't go back on, and they don't necessarily give you a supe...

  • Encephalon posted a message in the forum topic How do you level up your companions?. on the Dragon Age: Inquisition board

I'm sure the designers chose a good enough spec for each character, but I always like to do that stuff manually, if given the choice. I feel like auto-level would just fill out the trees relevant for ...

Quite an impressive write-up.The thing that interests me most is the Rivalry thing. That was a pretty neat feature in DA2, because, like you said, it eliminated the pressure to butter up your follower...

  • Encephalon posted a message in the forum topic Leaving the Hinterlands. on the Dragon Age: Inquisition board

@golguin: Different ones. No wolf-summoning this time, sorry. And, unlike Origins, where you could eventually have two specializations, this time you can only choose one. So choose wisely.

  • Encephalon posted a message in the forum topic Was anybody else disappointed in the ending? (Spoilers). on the Dragon Age: Inquisition board

The ending wasn't notable enough to disappoint me: "You beat the bad guy, yay! But this is just the beginning!"The story as a whole, though? Yes, it was pretty disappointing. At the risk of self-adver...

@golguin: A lot of stuff opens up after that quest. The most gameplay-relevant change is that you get to choose a specialization.

  • Encephalon posted a message in the forum topic Do I Have To Use Tactical View?. on the Dragon Age: Inquisition board

Also, there's no auto-equip option for your companions. You'll have to choose their weapons and armor manually. Auto-level is totally in, though.

  • Encephalon posted a message on the post Assassin's Creed: Unity Review.
