I was financially responsible and saved a bit each month for 6+ months to get a PSVR, so I was extra bummed when it came out along with tons of news about terrible tracking. I still have money set aside and want to get on the VR train, but was wondering if it has improved at all either through software/firmware patches or people learning how to better set it up.

Does anyone know if improvements have been made, or is it best to continue being patient before I drop 5 bills for vertigo and nausea?

The swing in momentum is definitely noticeable when your team stomps the Enemy and you're actually able to feel like you gained an advantage.

The Doom point is also a good one. Judging from the internet's reaction everyone hated the MP beta, but I loveddd it (maybe because I have no prior Doom love?)

Thanks for the thoughtful replies everyone. I rarely post on forums, but when I do I come to GiantBomb because of the kick ass community!

See what I did there?

I was so hyped for this beta and the eventual full release, and then I died. And then I walked for a literal 25 seconds to get back into the fight. Then I died quickly again thanks to a turret killing my tank character in one second. Then I got to play Walking Simulator 2016 again and walk for 25 seconds after watching a 5 second kill replay.

A bit long winded, but seriously, the spawns are ridiculous in this game. I understand wave spawning/spawn delays, sure, but the distance of the spawn points from battle is absolutely ricockulous. Unbearable to the point that after playing for 3 hours tonight I've decided to not buy the game.

1. Even as a Battlefield lover these spawns are too far.

2. Thanks for browsing my vent session.

3. Does anyone else get frustrated with this or am I just a big jerk?

So I'm about 6 or so hours in, fultoning everyone that I can. Last night I realized that my staff is full at 60/60 units. There is nobody in the waiting room besides Miller and Ocelot, so I'm wondering what's happening to the people I fulton/my current staff? Is it replacing current staff with the fulton'ed guys if they're better? Discarding of my fulton dudes? Neither?

An answer to this would be lovely. I'm not that big into manually managing my human resources at Mother Base, but like the overall concept of expansion, Mother Base, etc., so I figured having my staff maxed out for the time being would be best to get my unit levels up, but maybe I'm missing out on high level people I bring back to my base. Is this a dumb way to go about it? I captured a specialist last night, but when I returned to Mother Base and it showed the top guys I had recruited while away, that specialist didn't show up. =[

This. I especially like hearing what Jeff has to say as he's been in the game for a long ass time now so I highly respect his opinions, whether I agree with them or not. Hell, he was a big motivator for me to get into this industry.
