The margin this passed the senate with (like 86-13) was pretty shocking to me at first but I should have realized this is the same government that has renewed the PATRIOT act multiple times by similar margins. Hell, this got about 10 more votes than the PATRIOT act did last time even though the concept of indefinitely detaining fucking US citizens should be even more controversial. I'm laughing at myself for ever believing Obama would take a stand against things like this, what a naive baby I was in 2008.

I've noticed the current favored style for most games is when possible to crop out the system label from the box art since it's not really a part specific to that game, so I went ahead and did that for Xenogears if anyone wants to change it: http://www.giantbomb.com/profile/epocherror/all-images/52-338414/xenogearscrop/51-2069396/

So a while back someone went through changed the default box art for FF7 and FF8 to the PC versions, which I felt was for the better because the images were larger and lacked the "playstation" strip down the side (not really fitting for multiplatform games). Now I notice sometime in the last couple of months someone has changed the FF8 box art back to the PSX version.

I don't want there to be an edit war or anything over something this minor, but I do think it looks better.

My trophies from the Ico and SotC Collection aren't showing up, but they're missing on the us.playstation.com site too. They are on the UK site, though, so I guess it's the same problem everyone else is having.

That Pokemon TCG GBC game was pretty rad, man, at least to my 12 year old self.

I for one am shocked that releasing an overpriced handheld and no good games didn't have Nintendo raking in the dough. 

Sometimes I'll use my real name but a lot of the time it's Epoch. In elementary school I had a friend who always named his main character in RPGs "Ice" and sometimes I still use that today. Nostalgia, I guess.
