So I downloaded Mass Effect from Steam. For some reason I can't get it to start up! I've tried 'veryfing the game cache' or whatever, and that seems fine. I have went into 'steamapps' and tried running the game 'as administer' and i get onto the launch screen, but that's it. Once I press play nothing happens. What is happening?! I even have the Mass Effect music on the launch screen thinger and it's just TAUNTING ME!
@JJWeatherman: Ahah, I didn't work very hard on it, if that's some compensation :P Errm.. I've got 4 gig ram, an "ATI Radeon premium graphics card". Ugh.. I suck.
Righto, so I've just got my family home desktop, which I occasionally play pc games on. It can play Half Life 2 on it's highest settings (sorry, this will have to be the basis of our 'goodness' scale). Do you think I'll be able to play games like Mass Effect, etc?!
