It's been gotten away from on the last 2 pages...but could we PLEASE have this conversation without fake cutesy nudging and winking about lesbians? It REALLY undercuts anything semi-intelligent one might be saying in this context.

As far as the state of the DS goes, I figure I will still be rocking my DS lite for another year or two. I mean, I'm currently playing Retro Game Challenge and Contact; i certainly don't care about what's hot and new on the system, and there's still plenty of games I couldn't afford at the time of release that I am slowly picking up. 
 
As far as retail goes, most big box stores have the same crappy collection of licensed stuff and first party titles. There are so many kids that just want Ben 10 or Petz Nursery, and Target and Wal Mart are happy to fill that need.  I assume as far as shelf space goes, the 3DS games will just start taking a shelf or two in the DS sections, probably getting a whole 4ft by next Xmas.

Voted for Ryan, mostly on the basis of the number of Wii games he seems happy enough to play. Plus, I think he likes the Rabbids even more than I do. :)
 
Otherwise I would say Jeff, because he loves super weird shit and pinball.

Well, if you're looking for horror, my usual suggestions are Swan Song by Robert McCammon (which is definitely a bit like the Stand, but I like it way more) and Blood Music by Greg Bear, one of the creepiest things I have ever read. 
 
World War Z is great, even if had some pretty horrifying nightmares while I was reading it. :/
