Go West - We Close Our Eyes

"Inside, everyone hides one desire. Outside no-one would know."

A phrase with a wonderful amount of truth to it....

" DeathSpank!! Fantastic game! "
Seriously? I would consider playing this at a mates before purchasing. EIther the humour will work for you or it won't - most of the people I know who have played it found that it started to drag after a while.

I suggest checking out Joe Danger

Having neither a PS3 nor an Xbox, I really want a PC release of RDR. I know that asking for such things is hard to do, but I was wondering whether anyone had heard anything about it possibly occuring? I recall an interview when RDR was about to be released Rockstar saying that there wasn't a PC release date yet - has a confirmation of either yea or ney been said?

Having just finished Deathspank, I can attest to it being a flash in the pan experience. I wouldn't recommend it.

Well I got my first S rank - the steam version of Deathspank. Was it worth it - not really. This game gets tedious fast, and after 3 hours of it, I was merely looking to finish the game for the sake of finishing, rather than to complete it to see where the plot was going. I must admit that the humour was initially great - but after your umpteenth fetch quest, the whole poking fun at the rpg genre thing was getting ridiculous. Collecting 50 tin cans, the quest with the talking tree wanting a variety of spurious items. Perhaps I didn't get the laughs, or perhaps it was a thinly veiled attempt at hiding what was some otherwise lacklustre gameplay. I will not be getting the sequel....especially considering ranged combat was particularly lacking.
That said - damm easy S rank. Got it in 7 hours

TImesplitters 2 was my favourite PS2 game. Played the hell out of that split screen with my mates. FP was a disappointment however.... hope the rumours of TS4 are true!

@SSully: this ^^
I played the hell out of Joint Operations (Eurozone) and I don't think any game has captured the same sort of community essence that those games had. I'm still in my clan from JO:E, whilst clans I've known that have come about in BFBC2 and COD have come and gone relatively quickly.
 In the last few years, I would say about 80 people were playing Joint Ops *in Europe) on a regular basis.

To be honest, I don't think zombies are the problem per se, it is adding zombies ofr the sake of having them. Whilst the RDR zombies didn't necessarily fit, I think they were well incorporated into a coherent plot (sort of...). Also, there has always been a history of zombie modding, so people do want zombies in their games! So, I don't mind zombies, but it's when it feels like there was no need to do it - if they release another Left 4 Dead soon, without any radical changes in game design, I think that would be a good example of a tedious zombie addition.
