My first playthrough lasted be about 50 hours, and it was super-complete. Mined every planet, did every quest, maxed out all the loyalties. and reached level 30.
 
I was somewhat disappointed that your companions didn't have more to say.

He he. With a little bit of skill you can download all DLC from bio-ware for free (yes, their official website) for the PC, and use it in game without activating (well the game will think that it is activated) it. Of course I am not at liberty to disclose how to do this.

I think there are like 5 sets of chests and 5 sets of everything really to find. 
They are avalible at stores. I wish there were more armor customization parts to find though. 
That and weapons. I am having a hard time to find new sniper rifles. I only have my Incissor (or whatever the preorder code was) and my regular vanilla Mantis.

Now now guys. Stop picking on the newbie.

So, just for the hell of it, I went to the local cluster and flew to Uranus. I started up the scanner and probed it. 
So EDI was like "Really, commander?" 
That comment made my day.
