So, I have a story about when I had a Nintendo 3DS broken in half. The screen was just torn right off. It turned on but the wireless functionality did not work in any capacity. So naturally I had to replace it.
Since the wifi wouldn't work and I couldn't get it to connect to start a transfer, I had to call Nintendo's customer service to see if they could migrate my account on their end. And they did. They didn't credit any money to the eShop, they just migrated the actual purchases. The only thing I had to do was go in and re-download all of my games.
I think I might have had the option to send both units in and maybe they could have copied over my save data as well. Which I kind of wish I had done because I was half way through Ace Attorney and haven't gone back to it since I lost my progress.
Call in shows are not a new thing on Giant Bomb. They are, however, almost always terrible.
I've never really cared for the Q&A segments of the PAX panels, but I quite like the call in shows, most especially the Radio Dave shows.
If they were to do this more often, maybe it would make more sense to break it out into it's own show instead of an occasional UPF thing. But man, they really need to figure out the logistics of taking calls because clearly Skype and/or Discord are kinda awkward.
First few minutes you guys talk about the new profile images that Brad cannot see of Jeffs. One of you must have an option turned off because you CAN see other peoples. I don't know if it's friends only or what but I've seen several and people can see mine.
Yep. I saw Brad's profile background image shortly after I installed the update on my PS4 and was disappointed I didn't see any on the other Bomb Duder's profiles. Likely a privacy setting.
They have always put family friendliness first, although it was weird when they allowed stuff like Call of Duty Black Ops II.
...what? Call of Duty was published by Activision and Nintendo hasn't restricted third party publishers in a very long time, aside from that thing with The Binding of Isaac.
I've seen the file name of the HD download change three times already, so it's not like @vinny hasn't been trying to fix it. At least, as far as I can tell. I don't know why it keeps going wrong. Is it because it ends up being a 4GB file or what? I've downloaded every version that's been uploaded and none of them will play in Windows Media Player or VLC.
