The issue is that coming out of Hell, there aren't enough ways to work on gearing up for Inferno. You say they need to avoid "diluting" but I think there are just simply not enough opportunities for drops which results in grinding and that is a poor way to solve gearing up.
I don't think there is a double standard at all. People can and do state they are tired of both games because they keep doing the same things over and over and over again.
Part of the issue is that people often fail to recognize criticism of something is not criticism of them. Some people hate jokes like that because they believe it is a joke at their expense when it clearly wasn't. Also keep in mind that this understand happens often because of them but because they also fail to read your disposition on these topics at all.
It feels like Hell is about right in terms of difficulty and achievement and the amount of times you die while Inferno is way over the line. Although some fights are tough while working on gear you never quite get the feeling it is impossible to do while right away in Inferno it is brutal and often impossible.
I do wonder if they need to up the drop rate "power" on Hell Act 3 as well to give players better chances of just making to Inferno Skeleton King because right now characters that come out of Hell won't make it that far.
I felt Death Note fell to "absurditis" where the chain of absurd events needed to keep whats his face going were heaped on too many times and too thickly and to the point the writers lost their way. Maybe that was the point but at the beginning it seemed to be about shadowy form of vigilante justice where at the end he is just insane and ranting and raving about how much better he is than everyone.
It also depends on the show itself. I mean One Piece is full of dialog that isn't exactly Shakespearean. The dub for something like Durararara! was fine because it was slower and more deliberate.
If I have a complaint about the markets is that there is no "bottom" to the market. There is no market for mediocre or "bargain priced" items. It makes it hard to succeed where you can only get started by getting the lucky drop to begin with.
You can hit some serious walls in Inferno where you are left to farm and re-farm the same parts of acts you know you can win until it drops better gear for you or you give up. They need to continue to adjust upwards the drops if they want to keep players engaged or they will just stop playing.
