Yo, we're all built the same way. So what if we are different colors? I'd be totally fine with being in an interracial relationship and I'm open to the possibility. I think my family would be as well, minus one set of grandparents. Maybe they've changed, but they've always been a little bit racist and I've just tried to ignore it or diffuse it. There is one part of me however that wonders what it would all be like if we stuck to our own race. Just as some huge genetic evolutionary experiment. How everything would turn out. A weird curiosity how different we could turn out from whatever evolutionary path were already rocking. They are black because they lived in this specific region to be safe from the sun so basically they became black to be able to survive. Which again means because they are black they are less in danger of a heat stroke.

Because of evolution people and more animals adopt and change based on were they live. There is a reason why they are black and we in Europe were not. It is not because God thought its funny.

Which also means that if it was true that the first humans were born in Afrcia everyone was black in the beginning but that changed with people moving to different areas.

@icemael: In terms of research under certain fields I get what you're saying. There are things that separate Europeans, and Africans. The biggest being, Europeans, in early human history, interbreeding with neanderthals. It's still a very minor difference that comes down to immunity to certain diseases.

Besides, from a biological point of view, aside from minor mutations in certain areas of our DNA, Caucasians are no different from Africans.

Edit: And because I now realize I didn't make myself clear. I'm all for interracial relationships, it helps widen the gene pool, and stimulates evolution. It is the opposite of bad in every way possible. Humans, and animals in general, instinctually strive for diversity and the best possible mate they can find.

Your right about people being flawed and finding reasons to get angry. As for my school people seemed misguided. There was alot of hatred from both students and teachers. People would express there dislike of people dating outside there race, sometimes it even gets violent. To me it just seem more like jealously..

I think that interracial couples on the 21st century is a no brainer, we live in the year 2013 not in the 50's or 40s.

The problem I'd have personally would be with multicultural (i.e. immigrant/foreigner) marriage just because it adds a layer of complexity to marriage which is already tricky. I'm not against it on principle, but even marrying someone from Canada could be hard. Or it could be totally cool. Depends on the situation. But multiracial/ethnic relationships? I'm all for 'em. Just adds more genetic variety that makes people even prettier and stronger.

If a white/brown/tan/etc male/female finds another white/brown/tan/etc male/female emotionally or physically attractive, good for them. There is far too much negative emotions out in the world. We should, as a society, shun the negative emotions and encourage the positive ones.
