I completed the hundred pushup challenge thinggy while listening to the podcast. It took longer than 6 weeks but whatevs. http://hundredpushups.com/ I also got first in a 5k a couple weeks ago.
I don't know if this has been gone over, but I used to live in a farm community and I haven't seen anyone mention how many fluffly lil animals get ground up and killed in the harvesting of fruits/vegetables. Being a vegetarian is at least not "guilt free" I guess.
My lady is more hardcore than I am I guess. I wanted a Wii when she wanted and got both a ps3 and 360. She's better at finishing games than I am. It freaks me out when people think it's "hot" or something when your girlfriend is into nerdy stuff but is still a girlie girl. Those people act like they want a clone of themselves in their significant other, eeww.
She bought me a dreamcast because she didn't want me to feel inferior to her and her collection, haha.
Read The Road the other day and just finished The Giver. I spent a day on each, they read pretty quick. I'm finishing Shogun now. I started it awhile ago but the book broke in half at the spine so I just got a new copy.
Is whether or not water squirts out of your face really that important? I think "hey, lets make dudes cry" is a shallow goal for a game/movie. Excess eyeball water does not always go hand in hand with excess or powerful ideas and emotions.
BTW, I was not crying at the end of Ocarina, I just got something stuck in my eye, jeeze ;).
@TooWalrus: Yes, piracy is bad. This device you're showing, however, has the potential to pirate games just as well as any card for the ds. In fact, I wonder how legal this thing is? Surely Nintendo , Sega, and all the other companies didn't just let them sell all their games along with this device?
I have a card for my ds so I can use homebrew and use a nifty little painting program that I like a lot. I was just suggesting something to you that's pretty cheap and could provide some great handheld fun. Also, the snes emulation on that thinkgeek thing looks a little crummy, which is what I would be most concerned about. It does look kinda neat, though.
Play fewer games. Nurture other interests. Your newfound perspective will help you weed out the crap from stuff you actually want to spend time playing. Vidyuhgamin' isn't the only way to spend your free time.
