  • I was a big fan of the first Mass Effect title. Everything about the lore and the history that Bioware had come up with drew me deeper & deeper in. With the second title they blew me away. The gameplay was tight, the story telling was immersive and the whole package was wrapped with great characters. As soon as I finished the game I played again just because I cannot get enough of this superb series.

  • Coming in cold to this game I was taken by surprise. I had no idea I would finish this game in the 2 sittings not because it was short, but because i just wanted to see what happened next. The story hooks you right away and doesn't let go. Remedy did a great job of making a completely unique experience this year.

  • So much about this game makes it justified to buy one last title. The new keyboard and pro modes bring new flavors to a already great experience. Combine that with some of the best songs and visuals yet, this is the end-all platform for music gaming.

  • It's official, fighting games are back and in a big way. Building off last year's Street Fighter 4 release, Super just added so much more of what we wanted. The online is mode is much improved with better ways to get on and fight. All the new characters and ultras are perfect additions and it's just an over-all great time. This is the fighting game to own this year.

  • I was not at all excited for another Call of Duty title this year. I didn't think it was going to bring anything to the table that previous entries didn't already. I was proven wrong, the single player was a joy and really had a feel all it's own. With saying that the multiplayer is so much more enjoyable, it fixes so much of the craziness MW2 had and brings back a lot of the original feel I got playing COD4. This "Call" is the best one yet. Even if Treyarch didn't start the franchise they know where to take it.

  • I Honestly did not get to finish this game. I got it late in the year and there were so many other things going on (I.e. graduation), it just didn't happen. What I have played was authentic western world with so much to do and explore. This game won't get finished for me in 2010, but I'm going to ride again soon and enjoy every moment.

  • A long time player of the Halo series I'm glad to see it all come full circle. It's not what they added this year that made the game, but how much your spartan feels like your own unique solider. It's just how everything was polished and worked to what it is now. I'm far from a hardcore enthusiast, but I have to give Bungie their props.

  • I struggled on this one a bit, it almost didn't make it as part of my top 10. While it had it's issues, I enjoyed the hell out of it. The game play was rewarding test of efficiency and time management. The combo weapons we're so much fun and satisfying. While not a game for everyone it was certainly a title for me.

  • Yes, I know it's a free game. But that's all the more reason that everyone should play this. Even after beating the main campaign, it's really easy to play it all over again. I had a blast playing with all my friends and you will too. If you have Steam hurry up and download it you won't be wasting your time.

  • I love Puzzle Quest and while there are so many games this year I downloaded and played, this has been the crack for my brain. When ever I get into a game I have to play at least 5 more. It's addicting, nuff said.
