$280,000 GOAL

Seems a little ambitious for another clone but best of luck to 'em.

I used to feel like that but then I took up ice hockey. Not purely for the goon side of things, but just for the adrenaline and physical activity so I guess any physical contact sport will have a similar effect.

@Poppduder: Aye, can be a bigger fine than the speeding ticket: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3330852/Fined-for-warning-of-speed-trap.html

I always flash to warn. Someone up above said they panicked as they don't know why they could be getting flashed; a simple solution is as follows:

  • Check your own headlights - do you have them on the correct setting?
  • Check your mirrors and around your car - is there anything out of the ordinary?
  • Check your speed - are you going over the limit?

Its not rocket science, and takes moments to check those three things. If you are ok on all three points then carry on like normal - it could be the other driver is just warning you about something up ahead and not necessarily a police car or speed trap, either way that flash of the headlights will make you a little bit more alert and aware.

Probably Unreal Tournament, think I played the demo with a ping of like 700 on my old dial-up. Fun times.

This was ace, and I loved the last picture.

I came across that village where all the villagers had been crucified but were still alive on their last moments. The Legion dudes were like, "Yeah, we did this - what you going to do about it?" so I figured I'd wipe them out and be hailed a saviour, a post-apocalyptic Robin Hood of sorts. Wiped them out only to get the message that the villagers now disliked me for my disgusting acts of murder.

My response was to try and systematically wipe out the rest of the crucified buggers but the game wouldn't register my shots on their heads and I couldn't rip them off the crosses and beat them with a nuka bottle. A very sad turn of events.

But yes, I then had to spend the journey to the strip dressed as a Legion soldier otherwise super-strong Legion assassins would magically appear and rape me till my limbs flew off. Seems a tad unfair!

I love using cloud storage to save my games, and have had zero problems with the process. I've never tried to change storage locations mid save-file though between local and cloud though, nor have I ever went to the effort of trying to keep a local and a cloud copy up to date manually.

@ZeForgotten: +1, sir, +1.

Oh, and another pet-peeve: people who post something they've created/designed/whatever then fly off the handle when someone offers an opinion on it. A good example of this happened to me a few years ago where some dude posted some god-awful poem he had written. I posted some sensible feedback and he went completely bananas at me, demanding to know why I felt I had the write to comment at all on his poem and that he didn't post it for anyone to criticise. Asking him if he was aware that a public forum was, well, a public forum just caused him to go super-nova.
