Mortal Kombat X moves forward with a snappier version of the previous game's fighting and some cool new characters, but the story and other features around the edges feel a bit rough in spots.
The ways that Axiom Verge resembles Metroid help set up and drive home the ways that Axiom Verge is most definitely not Metroid.
Hotline Miami's thrillingly brutal gameplay is stretched to the point of breaking in this aesthetically pleasing, but otherwise disappointing sequel.
This has made me realize how much I want Danny and Drew to actually go and walk around an F1 track.

Rami is a frighteningly smart dude. That guy knows a ton about making games, and better yet, he's extremely talented when it comes to both the business aspects of making games and the communicative aspects of both the development and business. Plus, he helped make a game where I shot fish with a machine gun. He's pretty much the best.

I cannot imagine the kind of patience it would take to seriously attempt any challenge that requires getting Hired Hands to cooperate. Bananasaurus Rex is superhuman.
It's always nice when Alex gets to review something good. I'll probably pick this up a bit down the road when I've got the cash and it's on sale, since this month is consumed by Titanfall and Dark Souls 2 already.
