You gotta think, what takes more time: selecting one article which you think has the overall higher quality even if it is missing some part the other has, or sit there and cut and paste the two articles together while still hoping the whole thing flows well.

At this juncture, I'm gonna say they pick the first one.

I like the idea of shutting down the Wiki for a few days, getting the backlog cleared out, and getting some new moderators to speed up the process once they open up the wiki once more and the floodgates are opened.

Well if the spoilers makes up for more than 50% of the article's content, maybe you should rethink the purpose of the article? Just a suggestion. The article should have as much information about the game, even a story heavy game could be filled in with different stuff that aren't spoilers and still be very informative, well written, and verbose.

My best bet is to request a new page, but be sure to browse through and be positive that one does not exist already.

Most probably someone has already requested a lot of the more well known identical name games (Sonic, even though that was an example). In a week or two
it should be straightened out.

Let's be honest here, Luchadeer can do no wrong, he simply likes to play mind games.

Oh, what I mean (kind of vague last time) was that if the data is saved in the games page, others still can't see it UNTIL you give them permission to do so, so you can get a group of people who really like a game together and help edit an article until its ready to be put up then the points are distributed accordingly.

This is pretty much whats going on right now, but on a much larger scale with a lot of games.

Hmmm, that's odd, I've now tried a fair amount of games and in all screen shots regardless, the "Original Size?" link always appears. Sorry to hear this is happening to you.

One thing you can try is to edit the caption on each of the images you accidentally uploaded to PLEASE REMOVE or something similar. Or contact a moderator directly through PM since the other way may simply increase the size of the queue and may not be taken care of for a while.

Those are my two ideas.

This could be when the image you clicked on is already in full size. Take an image you know is small, say 320x200 from an old game, and enlarge that, most probably you will not be able to view it full size since it already is,
