i would go with a good 42" lcd if i were you. The price will be a lot better starting at around $600 for a 1080p as opposed to $800 for a plasma. And plasmas are slowly being taken out of production by all the big companies. there are only 3 manufactures of plasmas left. Just depends how much you wanna spend and how much things like glare or black levels bother you. Deeper blacks and usually better color come from plasmas but they are more prone to have problems and be more fragile in my experience. LCDs produce a lot less glare. just research them a little and make a decision.

So did i dude. it was epic. definitely going to pick this one up. I loved how everyone was yelling at the guy to burn everything during the demo in the exhibition hall. Then he made fun of the guy that told him to burn the water. Every other live showing in the exhibition after that hall had people yelling BURN IT.

This is impossible. Picking one RTS that is hands down my favorite....i cant do it. But i can say that The Westwood developed CnC games were all epic, as was blizzards Starcraft and warcraft. Those would get my nod....(get it, NOD)

What he says usually always has merit. I don't agree with him 100% of the time but he is pretty knowledgeable on what he is talking about and he is right a lot of the time. He cuts through a lot of the Bullshit that gaming companies and fanboys lay on games and the industry. He just likes to cross the line between productive criticism and flaming; and we love him for it.

PC gaming will never truly die. And as the line between gaming console and PC's starts to blur the future is probably in the PC's hands.

I know what you mean. To me it kind of seems like the average gamer doesn't like the turn based style anymore. And since technology doesn't limit game play like it did in the 8 and 16 bit generations people just are not forced like they were to play those types of games. It kind of depends if you grew up in those days and became accustomed to the style. The younger gamers and more casual gamers are put off by slow paced turn by turn fighting. I know most of my friends hate watching those games; let alone play them.
